Trump’s DOJ filed a lawsuit against California late Tuesday evening over their dangerous and unlawful sanctuary city policy being enforced by politicians such as Governor Jerry Brown.
Speaking in Sacramento Wednesday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions blasted California lawmakers for protecting illegal aliens in their ‘sanctuary cities.’
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) immediately fired back at the Trump administration’s move to finally put an end to the insanity of sanctuary cities.
The Democrats don’t even try to hide it anymore. They openly fight for the invaders who are leeching, killing and raping American citizens.
Pelosi tweeted: “The people of California will not be bowed by the Trump Administration’s brazen aggression and intimidation tactics. We will fight this sham lawsuit and will fight all cowardly attacks on our immigrant communities. #ProtectDREAMers”

Immigrant communities? Illegal aliens aren’t immigrants, they are invaders.
Have you ever seen a Democrat or even a politician for that matter fight this hard for law-abiding, taxpaying American citizens?
If politicians like Jerry Brown were arrested for breaking federal laws, sanctuary cities would quickly disappear.

This stupid “we will fight and won’t put up with” crap is just dumb.
You go to court and win or lose (this one looks like a loser for CA). The loser appeals, then it goes to SCOTUS which will rule for the Trump administration.
That’s it. If CA LEOs refuse a lawful order from a fed they will be individually charged, tried and will probably go to jail or prison.
I am not a big fan of Big Fed but when it comes to protecting our borders Big Fed can’t be too big IMHO.

Until that happens, this crap will continue. The Oakland mayor warned illegals of the upcoming raids and as far as I know, nothing has happened to her at all.

What Trump should have done is stop all immigration enforcement in California and declare it a “Federal Sanctuary State.”
Half the illegals in America would catch the first bus to California!

I think the Civil War may have just started.
They should have done that immediately, not run to the courts for a high level ruling that will be months to a year in coming. It's clear obstruction of Federal justice, opposition to Federal law, aiding/abetting of known lawbreakers, and dereliction of sworn duty.
Sure, if they prosecuted her, a thousand California functionaries would stand up and scream "I'm Spartacus!" (Or "I'm Schaaf"), but we are close to that situation anyway.
Where is Jerry Brown on this? I know he approves, but has he done anything illegal, such as issue orders blocking Federal enforcement? He'd be a great one to go after, too.

The Constitution says the Supreme Court has primary jurisdiction on any issue between the Federal Government and a state government. This should have been filed at the Supreme Court.
I have been bringing this up for years, namely regarding Abortion and Sodomite Marriage. Those were NOT Supreme Court cases held in “Original Jurisdiction”, they were Appellate decisions and have NO BEARING on ANY STATE, only the parties involved.
But NOBODY CARES WHAT THE CONSTITUTION SAYS ANYMORE!
