A senior adviser at the Department of Housing and Urban Development repeatedly promoted a false conspiracy theory that Hillary Clintons 2016 campaign chairman participated in a Satanic ritual, CNN reported Thursday.
John Gibbs, who has worked as a senior adviser since last August, tweeted multiple times about a conspiracy theory that John Podesta participated in a Satanic ritual involving bodily fluids. The claim originated within the far-right after WikiLeaks in 2016 published a hacked email linked to Podesta in which there is a reference to a "spirit cooking dinner," which conspiracy theorists inferred was a satanic ritual.

thanks for watching!
In one instance, Gibbs quote-tweeted a comment that Clinton was losing support among black voters because Podesta took part in Satanic #SpiritCooking, and added True, true, and true, CNN reported. Gibbs used the hashtag #SpiritCooking in other instances as well, CNN reported.
Hilarious! Fake news CNN, which has spread conspiracy theories ad nauseum, is in no position to dress down others about conspiracy theories.
Pot meet kettle.
email was to Miriam abramoff telling her that he was looking forward to Spirit cooking at her house. Here’s a video of Miriam abramov demonstrating Spirit cooking.
Gee, I wonder how so I’m going to get the idea that it has something to do with satanism.
This is one that isn’t a conspiracy theory.
They might try to call it “art”.
What conspiracy? His email said he was looking forward to an occult ritual at the house of somebody who leads occult rituals. The only conspiracy theory here would involve wild speculation that about how he was not involved in it...due perhaps to the email being altered or something.
John Gibbs didnt invent this conspiracy he is being accused of, he just believes it and said so. WikiLeaks made public the Podesta emails. Podestas emails brought the evidence, and not the far right that The Hill accuses.
Thought police are all over his tweet and are now after his job, by getting this whine of theirs to thehill.com.
These people are able to ‘alter’ their gender, so why not a video? Of course, it happens every day!
I remember when the spirit cooking email came out, everyone, myself included, immediately looked up to see what Spirit cooking was. Of course one person did not spread this.
The Hill checked with the usual DNC sources and concluded all of these allegations of child sex rings and other deviant activities are false and conspiracy theories.
Unfortunately the sources the Hill uses for their stories are pathological liars.
Garbage in, garbage out.
So they can just say something is a "false conspiracy theory" or is "debunked" and POOF it goes away?
Is that how that works?
I think we should be very careful of the Hill. It seems it cannot decide whether it wants to be a credible source of information, or an agitator in the left causes.
Watch Bob Cusak on Fox Business News and see a professional waffler.
John Solomon is the only Hill reporter I bother to read.
Notice they DONT claim it is a false conspiracy theory...
Exactly so. Pay no attention to some really bizarre emails.

You know. Just a typical spirit cooking dinner like grandma use to make. All perfectly normal. Absolutely. Not in the least odd.
