Scott’s consultant driven Senate election PR stunt will be totally overshadowed by the Norks. But we will be stuck with this garbage forever.

Anything repealing the no report or minimization of behavioral problems by minorities?

Agree. I sent him a letter stating that, almost exactly.

If we’d just had a few more laws, none of those kids would have been killed.

I don’t like the age requirement in the bill. But I will vote for Rick Scott over Bill Nelson.

And I bet the NRA endorses Scott.

So under this Bill, law enforcement can deem who should own firearms and who shouldn’t? WHAT COULD GO WRONG!!!

I just called Rick Scott's office at (850) 717-9337 -- lines are all busy. Voice mailbox is full. Waited for a person and after ten minutes or so on hold it dumped me into a different voicemail system, where I left my msg:

VETO SB 7026!

Florida Freeper

This bill is fairly reasonable in most aspects and it would be political suicide for him to veto it.

If he’s going to vote like Nelson, why bother to vote against Nelson?

Nelson will have a motivated Dem base GOTV and unlimited funds from Democrat billionaires. No way milquetoast Scott wins in this environment. Sorry.

Just adding up the numbers from the article, there’s 256.8 million of new spending this year for the Florida tax payers. A lot of that in the bill doesn’t address stopping shootings, rather it’s after the fact bandaids and building bigger school administrations.

Yeh North Florida and the Panhandle will be thrilled that you can’t hunt til you are 21. Nelson’s senate seat is safe.

If we didn’t have that gun free zone law, those kids would not be dead. This new law is stupid as well and lawsuits will fly.

Scott convinced me he’s not worth the cost of the ink to color in the bubble on the ballot next to his name (absentee voters have to buy their own pens).

In ‘16 I did the same thing for Rubio after he said all who opposed his immigration bill were raciss.

Pragmatism has its uses - and its limits. Dumb and Dumber helped me find mine.
