Wagner transitions from write-in opposition to GOP frontman

ITTSBURGH — About four years after having to overcome negative ads from his own party to win a state Senate seat, Scott Wagner was first to speak at a major GOP committee dinner as the party's endorsed candidate for the state's highest office.

Aboard a chartered plane from Harrisburg on his way to the Republican Committee for Allegheny County's annual Lincoln Day Dinner, Wagner said he started building relationships with Republicans statewide after his historic 2014 write-in campaign.

The Spring Garden Township resident and owner of Penn Waste was forced to run as a write-in after the state party endorsed then-Rep. Ron Miller, and Wagner won despite the party funding numerous negative ads urging York County residents not to vote for the "millionaire trashman."

In February, that same state party that tried to keep him out of the state Senate endorsed Wagner's bid for governor.

Meanwhile, Wagner was able to quickly gain influence among Republicans statewide by heading the Senate Republican Campaign Committee and helping the GOP earn a supermajority in that chamber, Madonna said.

I’ve been impressed by Wagner since his 2014 write-in campaign & victory. He fought against the GOPe’s designated candidate and, despite the establishment’s corrupt rule changes designed to defeat Wagner, he persevered and won. He NEVER surrenders. If he becomes Pennsylvania’s Governor, God will be smiling on the Pennsylvania people.

God has already smiled on the people of Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania Republicans in particular: --i am NOT a Republican BTW-- He decided that Elsie Hillman needed to leave the realm of the living.

Although of relatively humble beginnings, this evil B!TCH although a member of the Republican National committee, would fund Democrats who were pro murder over the Republican candidate.

She was one of the people who helped "fill the swamp" that President Trump attempts to drain.
