Dem Rep Deutch: Gun Bill Florida Signed ‘Merely the Beginning’ of the Response to Parkland
BREITBART ^ | 10 Mar 2018 | Trent Baker

Saturday, Rep. Ted Deutch (D-FL) discussed the bill Florida Gov. Rick Scott signed Friday to raise the purchase of long firearms from the age of 18 to 21, calling it “merely the beginning” of the response to last month’s Parkland, FL, shooting.

The National Rifle Association (NRA) sued the state of Florida over the provision, saying it violates the Second Amendment.

“This provision that requires someone to be 21 to buy a gun would have prevented the 19-year-old shooter, who bought an AR-15 and used it to kill 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas — that’s what the provision would have prevented,” Deutch said on MSNBC. “The NRA has gone to court to overturn that provision. That, I think, says as much as you need to know about their approach to this issue and the fact that their focus today and always is on the profits of the gun industry ahead of the public safety of our kids, our teachers and our communities.”

I look for the RAT Party to introduce a US Constitutional Amendment to repeal 2A. They know they are not going to achieve their "GUN FREE AMERICA" at the pace they have been going. Bloombturd and his ilk will pour millions the DNC way for such a proposal. Remember Soros and Peters successfully made Australia "GUN FREE".

Like I said, camel’s nose under the tent.

Stupid Republicans who thought caving into gun banners would shut them up were fooling themselves.

Then again, they aren’t called the Stupid Party for nothing.

Marco Rubio said regarding new law:

You can't BUY a gun until you're 21 but that doesn't mean you can't hunt, practice etc etc.

AR-15 and used it to kill 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas — that’s what the provision would have prevented,” Deutch said on MSNBC.
Lying sacks! no mention of mental health and the county sheriffs office for cowardess, the school boards Obama decree and agreement with police not to arrest anyone to keep the numbers down and fed funding coming in

Just have Dad bequeath it to you.

There are ways around the stupid age restriction.

Which in reality accomplishes nothing except making liberals feel good.

Did he buy the gun legally?

When they (try to) take the guns from the law abiding, only the criminals will have guns!

Their true colors are showing again. They are ignoring the facts again. This shooting could have been prevented by law enforcement many times over had they only done their jobs. This laws squarely on their shoulders. If anything, it proves that private ownership and the protective use of guns is greatly needed in today’s society. Nearly the entire gun owning population sees guns as a defensive tool against those that see them as an offensive tool. No good guy with a gun will just go around and shoot someone. A bad guy will. That’s when a good guy with a gun will defensively use his gun to stop the bad guy using his offensively.

Liberals must think we’re stupid.

Laws by definition are meant for the law-abiding, the good folks.

If someone is bent on mass murder, no law on earth will stop him, period. Bad guys are not going to be deterred by a law.

That’s clear to every one except to liberals who always insist a new law will finally fix the problem.

“”Did he buy the gun legally?””

Of course he bought legally, thanks to Obama’s lamea$$ ‘Promise’ program, which kept Cruz’s record “CLEAN”.

Okay, so I'm just renting my collection from the various sources from which they were obtained. I just paid the full 99 year leases up front, to avoid potential late fees. But I have not BOUGHT any guns at all... other than the ones lost in that terrible boating accident last month.

Dear Dems, Please, please, PLEASE run on an anti-gun, repeal the 2A platform.

They're already on board with running against the Trump Tax Cuts, against ICE immigration enforcement, against the excellent job growth, and against the entire energy sector. Adding a ban on all guns would not be a major problem for them at this juncture. They're basically at a point where they have to go all-in... and spend a ton of money to buy as many elections as possible, especially in the 2018 Senate races. Hopefully, Soros and the unions all burn billions of dollars for very little effect. (Sadly, the main recipient for those billions will be the media outlets via political ads. Some Lefties still prosper, even in a loss.)

The shooting could have been prevented had the Democrat assclowns in Broward County had done their jobs.

So there you go. The commie ‘RATS are going to TRY to disarm Americans and confiscate our guns. Communism just doesn’t work with an armed population. Before they can force us into the slavery of communism, they have to disarm us. This could get very ugly.

Thanks Rick Scott and all 67 NRA "A" rated Republicans who voted for this fiasco. We will not forget, we will not compromise.

Here are the traitors who voted for it: docs.google.com .
