Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., argued that her family’s claim to Native American ancestry is an indelible part of who she is — something that can never be taken away.
Warren defended herself on NBC’s “Meet the Press with Chuck Todd” Sunday morning when asked what she thought about taking an easily accessible DNA test, such as those offered by 23andMe or Ancestry, to settle the ongoing controversy over her heritage.
Rather than address that question specifically, Warren told a story about how her mother and father, born and raised in Oklahoma, met as teenagers and fell head-over-heels in love. Her father’s family was bitterly opposed to their relationship, she said, because her mother was part Native American, but the couple eloped and persevered.
“That’s the story that my brothers and I all learned from our Mom and our Dad, from our grandparents and all of our aunts and uncles. It’s a part of me, and nobody is going to take that part of me away — not ever,” Warren said.

this is great ... she’ll NEVER take the test (at least not publicly) ... and therefore this issue will dog her entire campaign should she attempt to run for President ...
I know someone whose DNA results contradicted the “family history” passed down from their grandparents. When she told her siblings they refused to believe it and now won’t speak to her.

Curious quote. She has taken the test you take that to the bank. It came back with no Indian markers or.. It came back with enough to embarrass her opponents and she will spring it at just the right time.
When you have dug yourself into a deep hole of lies, it is advisable to quit digging.
She just can not help lying, it is a natural instinct to her.

Seems to me a dna test would not take anything away from her if her story is true.
If it were me and the story was true I’d take that test and shove the confirming results in my critics faces. Big loss of cred for them for harping on such an issue for so long. I would never let them live it down.
And no one can take away her family recipes in a book called Pow Wow Chow.
I think it’s funny to see the liberals get in trouble with all this ethnic minority business. She’s getting called out on her claims of being of American Indian ancestry. Good riddance.
I assure you she has taken the test hoping that there was some native American blood someplace in her ancestry. There is none and thus she will never take the test publicly.
When I took the test I was most surprised. I had been told that we had minor amounts of Indian blood in our family. We had none. We did have a little less than 1% black blood. I was very amused at this finding.

The MSM-Democrats are perfectly consistent in their belief that they should be given great responsibility and be respected as morally superior while at the same time not being required to prove anything other than their unshakable belief in their own infinite virtue.
