Openly atheist Democrat Gayle Jordan lost a special election on Tuesday to fill a vacant seat in the Tennessee Senate.

Republican Shane Reeves won in a landslide, according to unofficial results from the Tennessee secretary of state. He received 13,139 votes compared to 5,179 votes for Jordan.

Reeves will fill a seat vacated by Republican Jim Tracy after he resigned to serve as state director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Rural Development office.

Jordan is executive director of Recovering from Religion, a group that supports people who wish to leave their faith behind. She is a former Southern Baptist who left the denomination 10 years ago “when her then-teenagers began asking questions she could not answer.”

Yeah, except the Dem in PA, ran as a Conservative who would support the Trump agenda.

I can’t believe even the stupidest of the stupid voters would actually fall for that!

“Okay...I am a member of the Democratic Party, I have a “D” after my name, but I am going to support Trump in everything he does!”

So, she abandoned her religious beliefs because she is too stupid to develop arguments to defend them?

That’s State Senate. I don’t think anyone ever talks much about the State Senate in national media.

I know.

Just because CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, and the NYT all say there is going to be a “Blue Wave” doesn’t make it so.

People need to keep a steady strain. This is going to be a long haul, no need to run around in little circles now with your hands over their heads.

It isn’t obvious to some people that you take anything they say with a shaker of salt, because they have a full-on anti-Trump agenda 24 x 7.

What the heck to people EXPECT them to say? The hysteria even among some conservatives is disconcerting.

We need to take a steady strain.

That’s the only way he could win. Eventually, he’ll have to vote with Pelosi and against Trump, then he’s done.

LOL, one has to admire in a twisted way their absolute adherence to their principle of tell any lie, spread any falsehood, debase yourself in any way to obtain power. Then do what you want.

They just openly lie. It is a Democratic Party form of “Taqiyya” and it is as natural to them as breathing.

Remember, we’ve “maybe” lost only one US congressional seat so far (in PA), and one US Senate seat in Ala.

The rest of the Democrat wins are state houses ..... lower house seats.

There are some 5,411 state representatives. Losing 40 of those over 5,000 seats to Democrats is hardly earth shattering.

The magic Halfrican, Obama, managed to lose over 1000 of those seats in 8 years, about over 110 seats lost per year. (hat tip SmokingJoe)

In all, Obama’s tenure caused major damage to Democrats all over the nation and in the Congress where he reduced them to a minority.

Liz, Brett Baier and Laura Ingraham were discussing the new redistricting map, due out next week, that may put both of these candidates in Congress, Sarconne and Lamb each representing two newly drawn districts.

Yeah.....saw that. Thanks.

But let’s not entertain any thoughts of pro-abort Lamb in Congress.
