Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) has reportedly shopped a book to a top New York publisher titled, Speaking Truth: Hard Facts and Hope for America’s Future, fueling talk of a potential run for president in 2020. “Senator Harris has been encouraged by many people over the years to write a second book and is actively considering it,” Lily Adams, communications director for Harris, told the Daily Beast, which acquired a copy of the book proposal.

As soon as I hear or read the phrase “speaking truth” I stop listening to anything else the speaker has to say, or stop reading anything else the writer has written.
Except when it’s used in a sarcastic or satirical context, of course.
Prosecutors make it as high as Governor or Senator, or some cabinet-level job. Her entire behavior while in DC....if you go view the Youtube videos...is prosecutor-like in nature. People just don’t want that type of individual as president.
Over at Democratic Underground she only has partial support. And those are liberals and progressives. Not looking good.

I wonder if there are already a few Dems who, at least privately, cringe whenever this person opens up her mouth. She often proves that she does not have the jazzman ability of WJC nor the smooth modesty of BHO.
A lot f you may not know much about Senator Harris. I suggest you get up to speed on her. She is a Vile Liberal to the umpteenth degree. Because she comes from CA, she has a large base from which to launch her campaign and she is smart enough not to let her ultra left San Francisco leanings creep into her speeches. Rest Assured however, she is a real threat and a bad one at that.
A non starter. Nothing but a female Obama with the added features of no smooth cool charm whatsoever, and the bitterness of an ex-wife.

I think you’re wrong on that, about her being able to hide her Bay Area mentality. She hasn’t been that smart so far and has let it hang out very publicly. She also whored her way to where she is now. She is near her Peak.
