Washington (CNN)A Holocaust denier is now officially the Republican nominee in a Chicago-area House race after running unopposed in Tuesday's primary. Arthur Jones' campaign website includes a section titled "Holocaust?" and he has been involved with anti-Semitic and racist groups since the 1970s, according to the Anti-Defamation League. The Illinois Republican Party denounced Jones' campaign earlier this year, saying there is "no place for Nazis like Arthur Jones" in the GOP or the country.

I can imagine that there is a concerted effort to encourage, if not plant GOP candidates where no sane republican would run just for this purpose. Watch it to be all over the news. A good strategy, really.

Yet the Dems nominate openly anti-Semitic Black candidates and it generates hardly a peep.

He is legitimately a nazi, former member of the American Nazi party of George Lincoln Rockwell. He’s been a perennial candidate for that house seat for decades, he just never won the primary before.

This one isn’t a plot at least. Jones has been running for that seat all on his own for decades.

He is running in Lipinski’s district which is 95+% democrat registered. Both Rauner (the sitting governor) and the state party chairman denounced him and tried to get somebody else to run against him but, honestly, nobody but this wack job wants to run in that district where the real race happened yesterday between two democrats. Jones has no campaign apparatus except for his website, does not attend events and does nothing, really, but sign up to run for office. GOP Officials have long suspected that he worked for Lipinski’s dad (the previous holder of the seat) just make republicans in the district look bad but, since then, it’s started to look more like he’s just insane and likes running for office because he knows it will get him attention and no one else will run against him just to lose to Lipinski. Again, he has NO state party support, no campaign manager and no campaign to speak of other than his website.

Primaries are a mixed blessing. All one need do is register with a party label and you can run in a primary with that label. Then, since primary elections are not elections with the greatest turnout, primaries get won either by name recognition or “activists” who work on turn out for them. Then take a district where a party is only sparsely represented at all and the only candidate can be a kook. The GOP Illinois should at least have their own advertising campaign NOT advocating a vote for the Dim, merely disavowing this kook.

If the GOP really wanted to win, they’d be finding DINOs to run in ‘Rat primaries.

Why is this Democrat mucking with the Republican party? Who was stupid enough to let him in the door?

This guy is a genuine Nazi sympathizer and Holocaust denier. He's also a perennial candidate who has been running for office in Republican primaries for going on 20 years. The Illinois Republicans have steadfastly denounced him and have denied him any and all support. The difference this time is that he was the only candidate to register for the Republican primary. So he's it.

That's about it. No Soros plant. No Democrat running as a Republican. Just a nutcase who lucked out, and who will be beaten by Lipinski in November by at least 85 points.

This nazi was probably recruited by the Southern Poverty Law Center to prop up the lie about conservatives. They use to take on of the early killers around to Universities to
showcase that ‘racists’ really were like they were saying... They trotted the same guy around the state for years.

You are not alone in this thinking.
