Anyone who has a Sears Card is, and it is just such relationships (Sears selling guns yet?) and Citi the credit supplier where both are going to feel the pinch.

Exactly - the main reason I pretty much stopped shopping at Sears over 10 years ago.

I don’t think I’ve spent a total of $40 or $50 there since then.

Unfortunately CITI is also the vendor for Costco cards. I will reduce my use of this card as much as possible.

#19. Glad I bought my beautiful Remington rifle from Sears in the ‘60s. Right after the DC and Baltimore riots which left the Sears’ store I was working in very vulnerable to looting and which would have threatened our family store except for the very well armed and brave liquor store owners/staff who armed up their place. They had their people tell the neighborhood that anyone who tried to loot them would be killed.

The whole block was as quiet as a bunch of dead crickets.
