RICHMOND, Va., March 23, 2018 /Christian Newswire/ -- Virginia Republicans have scheduled a "high-tech lynching" of a Hispanic-American for March 24, 2018, in Richmond, Virginia. The Republican Party of Virginia will be the first in U.S. history to try to expel a Hispanic.
There are currently no elected Hispanic Republicans in Virginia. Virginia's establishment Republicans and commentators have attacked other Hispanic Republicans in the past. The Fairfax 9/12 Tea Party has promoted Hispanic conservatives since 2010.
"Main point, they are lying," warned Jon Moseley of the Fairfax 9/12 Tea Party in Northern Virginia. Moseley adds: "Since Fredy never said what they slanderously claim, the real motivation for the political lynching of Fredy Burgos will alienate Hispanic conservatives. You cannot improve the reputation of the GOP by flat-out lying. Being conspicuous liars in public tarnishes the GOP more than sharing a Facebook graphic."
Intentional lies spread by RPV Chairman John Whitbeck, the establishment blog Bearing Drift, and Brian Schoeneman sparked a storm of controversy, falsely claiming that Burgo said things about Jews, which he, in fact, never said. Moseley comments: "The Republican Party cannot maintain a good image while openly and publicly trafficking in lies." Moseley, who is an attorney, adds: "I would love Fredy's approval for me to file a lawsuit."
As hard as it is to believe, Fredy Burgos stands accused of quoting from Supreme Court Justice John Jay on Facebook about America's Christian heritage. That is the only allegation identified in the RPV Petition calling for Burgos' expulsion from the State Central Committee.
The Republican Party Plan requires 30 days' advance notice of charges. Since only the quote from Supreme Court Justice Jay is listed in the Petition, no other issues may lawfully be considered on March 24. "You cannot accuse a person of 'Whatever else we might decide to add later,'" attorney Moseley explained. "The Petition was written by Whitbeck, an attorney, who knows what due process requires."
Virginia open-border elites accuse Hispanic-American Fredy Burgos of being a nativist and seek to expel a Hispanic "for diversity" because Fredy does not fit their propaganda that Hispanics support illegal immigration. Hispanics who oppose amnesty undermine GOP elites.
The vote in RPV's State Central Committee will be held during the 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM meeting at 800 East Canal Street, Richmond, Virginia 23219, less than a mile from Richmond's old slave market.

That's the #1 issue. So if I have to keep repeating it to penetrate the fog, sad, but so be it.
Suspicious. The article is long on blame and short on details.
This article makes no sense.
It’s a press release. The main specifics are that there are no specifics, total fluff being used to expel a Hispanic.
If someone can show me how to post a document I will post the RPV Petition
Wait a minute. This doesn’t sound right. How can the Republican Party of Virginia expel anyone? This is not the Soviet Union, where people out of favor get expelled from the Communist Party.
If this guy, Fredy Burgos, wants to call himself a Republican, then he is a Republican. And he can run as a Republican. No one has the power to prevent that.
The false accusations against a Hispanic Republican conservative do not make sense.
How do you explain irrationality?
Can you tell me how to post a document here?
https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2018/feb/12/fredy-burgos-preference-christians-facebook-post-p/
I’m no expert on posting a document, but maybe you could copy and paste it. But be sure to preview the paste first, as you might lose formatting.
THIS IS WHAT FREDY BURGOS POSTED:
That's too ironic to be real!
In fact, I think they might be almost half as bad as the democrat party of Virginia.
...
...that's practically hate speech!

February l3, 2018 Dear State Central Committee Members:
As you are probably aware, l l th District State Central Committee Member Fredy Burgos has posted the Facebook message set forth below. The post has led to an extensive amount of state-wide media coverage portraying the Party in a negative light during a critical election year.
So you are all informed , [ was made aware of the post by one of our State Central Members the day after it happened. Upon receiving the informat io n, I immediately contacted lv:Ir. Burgos directly, requested he remove the post, and demanded his immediate resi gnation. While Mr. Burgos did take down the post, he refused to resign or apologize for his remarks so I began working the Fairfax County Republican Chairman Matt Ames on initiating lvlr. Burgos removal from all official Committees . Mr Burgos has refused to resign even though his hateful rhetoric resulted in a full day of state-wide media coverage on February 12, 20 l 8 that eclipsed all other stories about our Party. In other words, instead of us talking to voters about the Presidents agenda, the great work we are doing in the General Assembly and our Party’s efforts to win in 2018, we spent the day dealing with questions regarding Mr. Burgos’ Facebook post.
Let me be very clear, bigot&)’ has absolutely no place in the Party of Lincoln and Reagan. The Republican Party of Virginia has a proud legacy of being the only major political party in the Commonwealth to have always opposed to slave ry. Unlike the Democrat Party of Virginia, we have always stood opposed to Jim Crow and the Ku Klux Klan. Our Party was not only the first to elect an African-American from Virginia to Congress, the Republican Pa1ty of Virginia was also the first to elect individuals with ancestry from the Philippines, Cuba, Lebanon, and Venezuela to public office . [n short, our creed and our values are universal , and it is our responsibility to ensure that these values are upheld even when one of our own is the person acting against those values.
Attached to this letter is a petition calling for Mr. Burgos ‘ removal from the State Central Committee at the next meeting on March 24, 2018. Despite the damage he has done to the Party and to himself over the past few days, Mr. Burgos refuses to resign. He must therefore be removed by a 2/3 vote of the State Central Committee after the presentation of a petition signed by l/3 of the members. If 1/3 of the members electronically sign this petition, the vote will happen and I will advocate for a roll call vote on the matter. Our Party cannot survive if we tolerate hatred and bigotry like that we have seen from Mr. Burgos .

The slogan referenced in the post, “Make Fairfax Great Again” is that of a candidate running for Fairfax County who happens to be Christian. The referenced candidate’s opponent is Jewish.
Charges:
Fredy Burgos has repeatedly made bigoted statements that directly conflict with the Second Article of the Virginia Republican Creed. Namely:
That all individuals are entitled to equal rights, justice, and opportunities and should assume their responsibilities as citizens in a free society.
Given his statements, we, the undersigned members of the State Central Committee request that Fredy Burgos be removed from the Committee forthwith.

And the GOP wonders why Hispanics don’t vote for it.
Its like its saying conservative Hispanics are not welcome in our party.
Especially when Hispanics aren’t politically correct. What a travesty!
Go figure.
Whitbeck and the VA GOP are Bush League Republicans hell bent on completing the George H.W. Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA).
This is one of the most poorly written screeds I’ve read in a long time. What is Burgos accused of saying? What are his detractors saying? How did the affair start?
See post #10.
Pro-Christian quote is allegedly antisemitic.
