Wouldn’t have been possible if for once, Republicans would show some testicular fortitude and actually operate as a disciplined national party.
That is what happens when you try to herd cats.
Hey, the GOP did show fortitude. They stood up for their base - big donors who want open borders - even though they knew they would catch hell from their constituents.
That’s just it. We are “cats”, we are individualistic, self-reliant folks who don’t need the safety of groups. We think for ourselves and don’t care what anyone else thinks. That’s what makes it difficult for conservatives to unite.
