Scalise has survived and healed enough to return to work.
That part is wonderful news. I know nothing about him otherwise. If Scalise gets the position, I hope he’s tough enough to be conservative and not fold up like a chair like the GOPe Globalists do.
Speaker is voted on by the whole House, and must get an absolute majority voting.
That means that right now 20 or so RINOs could force the House to choose a more ‘moderate’ Speaker than Scalise, and doing so would not enable Pelosi and the Dems.
Whoever it is, I sure hope they have a clue what Conservatism is about, and how few chances we have to dominate.
