Other predecessors were Carol Browner, (Clinton), a member of the Marxist “International Socialist” group of European leftists.
Her protege’, Lisa Jackson, was another wild-eyed Marxist who created all kinds of trouble in the EPA.
All I’ll say is “one of the Sharon Steel cases”, the Hudson River dioxin dig-up fiasco (about $70 Million dollars wasted), and of course the Gold King Mine recently. Oh, and we must not forget the infamous “Stringfellow Case”, perhaps one of the longest, stupidest CERCLA cases ever in American history (but California shares a lot of blame for this fiasco).
The Marx Brothers could have written a song about leftist EPA leaders and it would have been entitled “Yes, We Have Bananas, We Have Bananas Today”.
