How frightening is it that biz-pub Variety would describe this as “the story of a *relatively unknown* scandal”
I’m going to buy a ticket to this one and I salute the film makers for doing this movie.
For the life of me I can’t believe anyone for pay almost $20.00 to sit through a movie about this a$$hole.
National Lampoon was a great magazine!
Then he went on too cut South Vietnam’s throat by cutting off promised support. And saddling us with a the 401k retirement program designed to keep families from accumulating wealth over generations.

Available at Hall of Records, Chappaquiddick, Mass.
Chappaquiddick tells the story of a relatively unknown scandal ... what? Was all over the news at the time and has been kept alive since.
To be fair-minded, one must admit it is relatively unknown, despite being an item of enduring obsession (perhaps rightly so) on this site. We have to remember that Free Republic is not the cross-section of the average American consciousness in 2018. Here, all the ills, travesties and scandals of Democrats are kept alive sort of like the Eternal Flame of the Unknown Soldier. To most people outside this site, this event is a distant, hazy memory with no obvious resonance or relevance.
Our server sentries tell us you probably shouldnt be here. Maybe youre lost?
That’s the message I get every time I try the link you gave.
