Just a web search for “shoppers of Walmart” will tell you it’s gaining among the left. One couldn’t imagine a freakier bunch than that.

Don’t bet against Walmart. The company is rapidly evolving. It will be the first company to gross a trillion dollars.

If Sam was alive today it would be interesting to see his
opinions on the changes over the years.

“There is only one boss. The customer. And he can fire
everybody in the company from the chairman on down,
simply by spending his money somewhere else.”

end quote

Corporations doing politics are inviting the school drop out marchers and rioters to run their business.

“A majority of shoppers who identify as Democrats now say they would consider shopping at Walmart”

This is BS. Democrats have always shopped at Walmart.

Walmart is not unionized so the evil donkey lied to its foolish voters that Walmart is a terrible place to shop. The inmates looked over the plantation walls and saw the benefits of shopping at Walmart. Now the donkey is losing the anti-Walmart crowd. Ha ha ha ha more crumbling on their side.

I remember Walton’s store back in the 1950s. When he started Wal-Mart, he broke the economic stranglehold of the CHICKEN MEN who paid starvation wages well below minimum as they were “Agricultural”.

Poor people lived in run down shotgun shacks and tar paper shacks, and many houses did not have indoor plumbing. We had CULTURE SHOCK with the backwardness here when we were dragged as kids kicking and screaming from our home in the Rocky Mountains.

Now NW Arkansas is a powerhouse of economic growth in the state. Without Walmart, this would just be another poverty ridden state with people fleeing to Oklahoma for good jobs.

why am I here? I found a great job starting up a new coal fired power plant with super wages and benefits.

Unlike Target, Walmart is far more neutral in the culture wars. I believe they prefer to stay out of it as much as possible.

When it comes to legal issues, I believe they do what they have to do.

Yeah, I believe they lean more liberal than conservative.

That's something you seldom see in our local Wally World: open checkout stands side by side. Most of the time, there are 22 checkout stands with an average of three or four which are actually open.

They really don't seem to care how long the lines stack up.

Lefties starting to like Walmart? Geez, as long as they shunned it I knew they wouldn’t be able to ruin it like they ruin everything else they touch.

I once worked with a guy who railed against Wal-Mart for being a monopoly and putting small, local stores out of business, said he HATED them. But, he also admitted he regularly shopped at Wal-Mart because nobody else could match their price on diapers and other baby products. He said he hated them even more for “forcing” him to choose between his values and his budget. It was hilarious.

It’s hard for libs to be store snobs when they are living with crushing student and consumer loan debt.

LoL - this article is acting like it's a new discovery or something. The real story here is that Walmart *loves* the underclass EBT culture and courts it - guaranteed steady income for them. From the government coffer straight to their pockets.

I have my own reasons for avoiding Wal-mart, mostly because of the high concentration of “no habla inglés” non-citizen patrons at the ones around me.
