Assembling the Pre-Flood World

Knowledge of the pre-Flood world is limited because the Bible only gives a few details. Some creationists have relied heavily on secular interpretations in their studies on continental configurations and pre-Flood geography. ICR’s geological research is the first to tackle this issue using actual rock data from around the globe.

Which flood? The Bible records two floods.
This particular flood dates back about 13,000 years ago. There’s some debate over the cause....but the facts point to a massive and very quick-to-occur event (likely a meteor hitting the glacier area over North America, 2 miles thick over Chicago). You are probably looking at water rising across the globe in a matter of a couple of hours....minimum of two-hundred feet....maybe even three-hundred feet. Anyone who lived on a coastal area...probably didn’t make it. That meteor blast, the soot in the air, and the change to the Gulf Stream....made a mess of things for several hundred years.
The Bible talks about one great flood, called the flood of Noah. There are passages of local flooding but what passages are you referring to?
If you assemble the pre-flooded world, you’ll just cause another flood.

The first Biblical record of a worldwide flood is in Genesis 1:2. The actual events that brought about the flood are between verse one and two and are unrecorded. There’s a gap between verse one and two.
There are references throughout the Bible to what went on in that period and I believe this is the period when Satan fell and dinosaurs roamed the earth. But there’s no chronological record in the Bible of what happened between verse one and two.
We don’t know how long that period was, but science records it 4.5 billion years from the creation of the earth in verse one. Many Christians have long been confused about this which is why there’s some confusion among some Christians who challenge science as to the age of the earth.
The only definitive Biblical record of this period is the effects recorded in verse two. What follows verse two is actually God’s RE-creation.
The second Biblical record of a worldwide flood was of course Noah’s flood in Genesis 7 & 8 after which God promised he would never again flood the earth.
It's possible. Since the Bible gives a pretty good indication that his re-creation including man's creation occurred about 6000 years ago, the first Biblically recorded flood of Genesis 1:2 could have been any time before 6000 years ago.

Pretty cool theory. I will have to spend some quality time contemplating that.
I have a running theory that Adams age did not chronologically begin until after the fall. As he and Eve were designed to last, there would be no need for aging either of them. My theory gives viability to the rise of humanity in Eden as when Cain left the family, he was concerned that he would be killed by whomever found him (Genesis 4:14), this is a clear indication that there were other people on the planet at the time. The Bible also indicates that Eve’s punishment is an increase in pain at childbirth. The Hebrew “rabah” means to increase or multiply, meaning pain had to exist in order to increase. An implication that she had given birth previously.
Cain went East and found a wife, obviously this had to be a sister, and he built a city (Genesis 4:16-17). Would have been a rather empty city without inhabitants. I believe that Adam and Eve resided in the Garden for quite some time prior to the fall.
