It appears all the bragging done by Obama advisors about their cozy relationship with Facebook is about to bite the social media giant in the behind.
Washington Free Beacon reports:
Missouri’s Republican attorney general Josh Hawley delivered an investigative subpoena to Facebook’s Menlo Park offices on Monday, demanding a wide-ranging group of documents related to the social media giant’s handling of user data.
The civil investigative demand, which was provided by the attorney general’s office and can be viewed here, comes a week after a group of 37 state attorneys general sent a letter asking for answers on how user data was shared with third party groups such as Cambridge Analytica. Hawley decided to follow-up on the letter with the subpoena to give Facebook a “legal consequence for failing to respond” by May 29, his office said.
The probe aims to determine whether Facebook exercised “appropriate care and protection over private consumer data” and whether the site’s terms and conditions “accurately and adequately explained how consumers’ data would be used.”
Obama campaign manager Jim Messina once touted the former president’s 2012 campaign’s use of Facebook, claiming it used “targeted sharing” on the social network to persuade undecided friends and family to support Obama.

I remember the Democrat Thug Party boasting about its social media prowess. And now Facebook is being condemned because DTP is not in control.
Facebook effectively gave the Obama campaign a massive, unreported campaign contribution by offering them all of that free data and free help. Of course that is fine but it is a crime if the Republicans do a fraction of that and pay for it. It will be fun to watch the media spin on that.

As the criticism of Trump escalates in recent reports, you recognize that the ultra-liberal Zuckerberg has stupidly enforced a double standard.
All of the F/B fallout magnifies the confession by a former Obama campaign parasite that they basically took whatever they wanted from Facebook, with Facebook’s blessing tells a different story.
Say what? With F/B's blessing? Isn't this an in-kind campaign contribution. Was it reported to the FEC?
WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO BELIEVE Cambridge Analytica worked for the Trump campaign, and either stole, hacked, or through some other nefarious way mined personal information from 50 million Americans and used it to target ads on Facebook to people likely receptive to them.......activities that were lauded as leading edge stuff when Democrats did it.

If the emanation of a penumbra creates the right to privacy from the Supreme Court that enables legal abortion, I would think a similar right to privacy could be found that would limit sharing of personal information about you.
