Indeed...it’s complacency on our side of the isle that has to be overcome. Remember back when - we were all, no matter state we were in and no matter how far away from Wisconsin we were, sitting here weeks leading up to it and the night of paying very close attention to a Supreme Court race in Wisconsin between Prosser and Kloppenburg. I even remember their names (and remember Kloppenburg declaring victory even though she hadn’t won anything - she was very narrowly leading with considerable votes outstanding and may have even fallen behind in the vote count as she was giving her ‘victory’ speech). This time around...didn’t even know about the race until after it was over. We weren’t paying attention to a lowly Supreme Court race in Wisconsin this time around...and if people had posted about it, we wouldn’t have responded to the articles probably...so this complacency is even right here on this forum where we are all political junkies, let alone among conservatives in general across the nation. The other side meanwhile is out of power and wants their power back, even taking little pieces like this will have an impact - and they are taking them. How do we overcome this?

The problem as always is complacency, slacking off the necessity for everyone to vote. If every Trump voter in WI had turned out to vote for the conservative candidate in this judicial election, they would have installed a good conservative judge. But they didn't bother, figured the hard part was over, let Trump do the heavy lifting now.

If there is a blue wave this Fall, this will be the reason: Trump can do all the right things and achieve great miracles, but if every available patriot does not vote, the enemy will win anyway, and undo all the good of the last year.

Yes, and the other problem is insistence on unobtainable perfection.

Trump won, in part, because many fine GOPers who OPPOSED Trump in the primaries (correctly) worried more about the Hillary alternative, voted for Trump, and convinced unsure and unmotivated friends, relatives, and workmates to do the same.

Perot gave us what should have been an object lesson: do not take grievances into the general election. General elections is where we must set aside differences (which will always, always be there, and many of which are totally justified) and UNIFY into the election.

Primaries? Argue, debate, show us key differences. We we expect some fireworks.

Generals? Unify (that is the secret that the Dems somehow know better than do we.)

Conservatives should find DINOS to run in ‘Rat primaries.

If only those beasties actually existed - closest we ever had was the "Dixiecrat" Blue Dog Democrats and they are an extinct breed...Gene Taylor of Mississippi was one of the last few and he's been out of things for a while now.

“How do we overcome this?”

I’m not convinced that we can. :(

It usually takes losing power and the ‘Rats effing things up over the course of a DECADE or two, to get us motivated again. And having GOOD, SOLID, Conservative Candidates would certainly help!

Frankly, we don’t have the time to spare anymore.

I’m not trying to sound defeatist, and of COURSE I’ll do what I can where I can, but it is a frustrating cycle that GOP LEADERSHIP puts us in, no matter which state we’re in, and of course, Nationally.

One step, ‘FORWARD’ (Wisconsin’s State Motto) and two steps BACK. :(

Despite Fighting GOP’s Battles Alone

No matter how many times you call MAGA the "GOP's battle", it's still not true.

The GOP is a globalist force for evil.
