I doubt our founders could imagine how corrupt the government they founded would become, such that it would authorize the murder of over 55 million children of the womb. Maybe the founders figured that true Americans would indict, try, convict and sentence such corrupt government officials and their collaborators and put an end to such genocidal crime against humanity.
So far it looks like the founders didn't figure right.
They also understood human nature and that it sometimes takes a long train of abuses before the people rise up.
