Remember Romney’s 47%? It was a reference to the net takers rather than the producers, who are taxed. The real number of rock-hard takers might be a bit lower, but it’s pretty well into the 40’s and quite solid. Rallying for turnout is good strategy.

For the additional people you need to push it over the top, you go for other special interests... racism, women’s rights and #MeToo, immigration/invader activists who are more Mexican than American. It’s a plan. And, it worked fine for the telegenic magic mixed race mystery man, Obama.
