Not surprised. When people noticed her very dilated eyes with the bright camera lights during the 60 Minutes interview, that raised a LOT of questions about her in the first place.

Uh....it doesn’t matter what the public is interested in or feel is important or not. The Deep State wants to remove Trump by any means necessary and the public be damned. Mueller won’t be punished by it, he’ll just go back to private practice or line up a squishy job....etc

“By a margin of 59 – 24 percent, people also believe Trump knew about the $130,000 payoff to silence Daniels...”

President Trump never knew about the alleged payment because it probably never happened.

One of my friends put it well:

“I don’t care who he’s banging, powerful men will do what they do. I care about my tax cut, building a wall and how the DJIA is doing. If you can’t put numbers on it who cares?”

Because it’s not an important issue. I wonder who the 23% are? Any conservatives who think that character issues are important in a president?

Anyway, we’ve already been through this kind of thing when it should have mattered, and a sitting president lied under oath about it. The media and the pundits, at that time, declared that neither the affair nor the lying mattered. So, they shouldn’t be surprised at the public’s lack of reaction now-they themselves laid the groundwork for it.

And of the media were to try to cover every woman with whom President Trump ever slept, they’d have no time left to misinterpret and lie about his policy decisions. That would probably be a mercy for those of us who support his stated campaign promises.

WGAS? “Its about the economy stupid!”, not about some overly made up bimbo looking to get an additional 15 minutes of fame. Who cares about some porn star looking for publicity over a one night event that may or may not have occurred. 79% of Independents see through it. Its only the Trump haters who are looking to grab on to anything that will get him out. Remember, he hurt the Queen of hearts feelings by winning an election, and ruining her planned coronation. Her followers want revenge because their numbers were greater. Forget the EC, its the votes that counted, be they legal or not.

Frankly, I find it very disturbing that 23% would even find the media violating every rule of good taste & respect for privacy by even elevating this soap opera to status as "news."

While it is analogous to some of the material in my nove, where the New York Times seeks to destroy the candidacy of my protagonist, I am really taken aback that so many would fail to see the absurdity of trying to peek into a leading citizen's intimate personal business, in order to elevate some one totally lacking in a sense of what is appropriate's, attention seeking.

"...73% feel it is not an important issue..."

I do not believe President Trump ever slept with her. He has a well-known germ phobia and doesn’t need porn actresses.
She is an aging person in a filthy business who is likely trying to leverage a chance meeting over a coffee (he doesn’t drink alcohol) into a payday.

As far as attorney involvement, that would be like any of us getting $1.00 out of the coffee can in the cupboard to ensure a neighborhood kook stays away.
Who wouldn’t authorize their people to make those kinds of low-level financial decisions? For what compares to a measly buck?

the 23 percent who think it is a big issue either work for CNN, MSNBC, or are Never Trumpers. I haven’t encountered anyone who is even interested in this or the Russia collusion delusion.

I’m not concerned in the least with whether or not President Trump had consensual sex with some porn star a decade ago, but I am very concerned with with raping that I and everyone else have been forced to endure by our current political class.

That rape appeared to come to end the day President Trump took office and since that day, our political class has done their best to remove Trump from office so they can re open their rape rooms on the American people.

Trump has exposed Washington as full of corrupt, incompetent politicians , many of whom have never had a real life day job and probably could keep a real, results orientated job to save their life.

I for one, am very happy about having a President who is actually acting in the interests of everyday Americans and who puts first.

I have no doubt the our scum bag Pols will re open the rape rooms the minute Donald Trump is forced from office and that the reason they are openly framing a sitting President to remove him from office is because Trump shut them down.

FWIW, I seriously doubt that Stormy actually had a sexual relationship with Donald Trump for one very significant reason. Even when Trump was single, he required any woman he dated to sign an NDA before he would go out with her.

Not very romantic perhaps but The Donald is a Billionaire media super star and chasing Trump was, at least to some degree, a business proposition for many interested young ladies back in the day

Stormy Daniels obviously never signed an NDA with Trump at the time she claims she had an affair with Trump, and it’s hard to reconcile Trump insisting some super model or movie star sign and NDA and then not do the same with a porn star who is a professional for whom it is SOP to sign a contract before having sex.

YMMV
