Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted today to altering the site’s algorithm to shut down certain speech on the platform. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg appeared before the Energy and Commerce Committee of the House of Representatives in Washington today where he admitted that Facebook does alter its algorithm to shut down certain types of speech. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), questioned Zuckerberg saying; “we’ve done one hearing on the algorithms, I chair a communications and technology subcommittee here, we’re getting ready to do a second one on algorithms. We’re going to do one next week on prioritization so I’d like to ask you, do you subjectively manipulate your algorithms to prioritize or censor speech?”
Mark Zuckerberg replied; “Congresswoman, we don’t think what we are doing is censoring speech, I think there are types of content like terrorism which I think we all agree we don’t want to have on our service, so we build a system that can identify those and can remove that content and we’re very proud of that work.” Blackburn took Zuckerberg to task saying; “let me tell you something right now, Diamond and Silk is not terrorism.”

“‘Please ask Mr. Zuckerberg why is Facebook censoring conservative bloggers such as Diamond and Silk. Facebook called them unsafe to the community, that is ludicrous, they hold conservative views, that isn’t unsafe.’ What’s your response to that?”
“‘Please ask Mr. Zuckerberg why did you rob the downtown branch of Joe’s Savings and Loan? What’s your response to that?”
Zuckerberg replied; “Congressman, in that specific case, our team made a mistake. And we have already gotten in touch with the bank to give the money back.”

Lets get it tested then by SCOTUS. My bet is that what Zuck the F*ck is doing is an illegal restriction of 1st amendment speech. You bet it is censorship, and Zuckerberg is the modern equivalent of Joseph Goebbels working for the liberal fascist hegemon of Barrack Obama . If Congress examined what Zuck the F*ck did in Libta, Egypt and elsewhere to organize Muslim Brotherhood riots on social media, who subsequently went out and committed genocide in Egypt against Coptic Christians, Zuckerberg would be regarded in a much different light by Congress.
Zuckerberg and Facebook are highly dangerous to the democratic institutions of the United States.He seeks to do in America what he did in Libya and Egypt: Organize leftists and socialize them into a mass of screaming no mind liberal fascists.

A slighty better way for me to say it:
A virtual community without equal weights and measures. The presented communications and interconnections do _not_ represent what the community is actually reading/watching, saying and reporting, but rather a contrived version of those activities and what members are doing.
I.e., propaganda, lie, deceit and conjuring.
E.g., _trending_ information is _not_ what the community is actually trending. It is what the virtual owners say is trending; popular; most active...
Duh.
