Garry Frank’s rant going viral (Grand Rapids, Michigan Weatherman)
Fox 17 - West Michigan ^ | 4/12/18 | Anon

Posted on 04/14/2018 8:50:45 AM PDT by ProtectOurFreedom

Spring hasn’t been the greatest so far in West Michigan and Meteorologist Garry Frank has been hearing about it.

And Tuesday, he’d had enough.

Mike Avery and Deanna Falzone were the recipients of this tirade, but Erica Francis and Nicole DiDonato hadn’t helped the situation earlier in the morning. Be sure to watch through Robb Westaby’s attempt to follow with Traffic.

As of Thursday afternoon, the video of the rant posted on Facebook had over 172,000 views. FOX 17 posted it on YouTube late Thursday and it already has over 6,000 views.

He’s been on BarstoolSports.com, where someone refers to weather people as the Sarah Huckabee Sanders of the news, Mashable.com and ScaryMommy.com.

And, of course, the weather is taking a nasty turn this weekend. Don’t blame Garry. Please.

This is hilarious! The weatherman finally snapped because all he has is lousy 7-day forecasts - cool, windy, wet, and cloudy - and everybody is hating on him!

Weatherman...about the only job, outside of politician, where you can be wrong the majority of the time and still be employed.

“There is no way this winter is ever going to end, as long as this groundhog keeps seeing his shadow. I don’t see any other way out. He’s got to be stopped. And I have to stop him.”

I believe it was George Carlin Who made the observation that San Diego TV weatherman is the easiest job in the world.

"Today's weather: nice."

Also Baseball batting averages aren’t much better.

San Diego weather forecasts:

Most used: Nice.
If a quarter inch of rain is expected in the following 24 hours, STORM WATCH.
For 3-5 weeks a year, FIRE WEATHER. Typically immediately followed about concerns about air pollution for sensitive populations.

It’s kinda sad, really, how deep into drama they go whenever the weather veres from ‘nice.’ As for the rant of the weatherman, I laughed. The follow up should be his receiving of the crates of pacifiers and a pallet of diapers.

Especially if you play for the Rangers.

That was some good TV right there. Internetworthy, even.

The traffic guy should have said epic rather than terrifying but his leaning into the frame was perfect.

I feel for the guy. It has been a tough winter for folks up north and there is a limit to how much bad news people want to hear before they start looking for someone to blame. I would suggest a weeks vacation in the Florida Keys.

Yeah...the traffic guy leaning into the scene at the end was the perfect touch, wasn’t it?

45 years ago I decided I had enough of the Northeast and Midwest crappy weather and moved to California. Once you realize you can have 300 days of sunshine instead of 300 days of clouds, it’s an easy choice.

At least the weather is still nice here.

In Texas, we say, “If you don’t like the weather, give it a minute.”

I love cloudy weather, down here a clear sky means you steam. Bring on the clouds...

I moved from New York to California in 2005. Everybody should live in California for a few years. It’s... ummm... different. But the politics are just too nutty and I finally voted with my feet at the end of 2015. Now I live in the SW corner of Florida. I still get the nice weather most of the year, but now I do so for a third less the cost of living and no state income tax.
