I think the general concept is good. We have no business being in Syria anyway ... until we need to kick some more ISIS ass.

That part of what was NE Syria is now Rojava. The Kurds are not going to welcome any other forces in their new homeland.

Having seen how the extremist militias brutalize the towns they capture, it seems a lot of Syrians are thinking Assad is “syria” and a much better option
