Want to empower women? Stop talking about gender pay gap

If you want to empower women, stop talking about the mythical gender pay gap. ...

It’s important to understand how the left is twisting numbers for political purposes, but it’s also vital to rebut the destructive message they’re sending.

The subtext of Equal Pay Day is that women can’t. No matter how hard women work, no matter how smart they are, no matter their choices, women can’t earn as much as men. Try your hardest, sister, but your gender will keep you down.

If women really got paid less for the same job as a man, then none of us men would ever get a job. All businesses would hire only women.

Why?

Because they would see their payroll costs be a lot less, if they could pay women so much less than men. So they would have a strong incentive to hire only females.

That is, if this gender pay gap were real.

Lie #1... if women actually made 70% as much as men, companies would only hire women, and instantly save 30% on labor costs.

Lie #2... women don't need to be "empowered". Women have controlled men since the dawn of time.

Ah, but ye suppose that businesses operate to make money and not to surpress women.

In general, I have found it is far easier to reason with your average three year old than your average libtard.

Lie #3... women need to be equal to men...why drag them down to our level?

Stop pretending that on average men are stronger than women and on average take more dangerous jobs with inconvenient hours than women.

1. Women -- especially college-educated women -- aspire to lower paying professions than men.

2. Adjusted for time on the job, women on average earn more than men. But women tend to come and go from both professions and the workforce more than men.

They aren’t doing it to empower women. They’re doing it to advance the cause of wealth redistribution.

Think about the nature of jobs.....should women who work in the NFL be paid on an equal basis with the men??????? There are many considerations in job descriptions, death or injury possibilities, required time off probabilities, travel possibilities......and, men seldom sue their employers for sexual harassment atmosphere.
