If you think a border with Mexico is hard to close, think about how hard it would be to close the border with CA.
And it would need to be closed because crazy Moonbeam Brown would probably invite the Chinese. If not, they would come anyway.
We would have 10,000 times the problem we have with the Mexican border and a much greater threat to national security.

The PRC already have a lot of business interests and property in Ca. I absolutely guarantee hard core leftists will invite the PRC in to “protect them” from the evil US of A! Who else is capable of giving them military protection? Mexico? Think about it with the PRC any military pressure by the USA no matter how small automatically has the potential to escalate to a nuclear confrontation. Ca secedes we are no longer a Pacific power!

In a federal system like we are supposed to have, California’s should be able to pay for this kind of hatred if they want to. But those of us in other states should not have our tax only seized to support them.

I forgot about Modern Japan. I hadn’t encountered that portion of Japanese history since my 4th grade history class. That was in a private school way back in the Jurassic.
Let’s set aside all of the despicable hate speech spewing out of this woman for a moment: supposedly she’s a professor in the ENGLISH department. She has such a poor command of the English language (as shown by her constant repetition of the same curse words) that she should be fired on the grounds that she doesn’t know her subject and as such is a poor example for her students. (May God help them.)

They don't have to secede. Growing up in IL, WI and MN, I recall IL/WI border checks preventing margarine from entering WI, illegal in the butter state years ago. Alcohol checks between age 18 WI and 21 IL. Tobacco checks on the IL/IN border due to taxes. I've gone through immigration checkpoints well north of the border in AZ. Recall once telling my kids to take off their hats so they can see they're blonde. Politically incorrect, I suppose. I don't see why checks couldn't be done by states bordering CA. And then there's marijuana legal/illegal borders.
