I hear you but I’ve seen over decades good things such as the new Arboretum loop which I also had a hand in.

But you are right, the liberal rot is viewable now and decay is happening.

However, I see this as part of the political lifecycle wherein liberals get pushed out by smart business owners who are pragmatic, who understand the bottom line is what counts.

So, I look at the long-term.

Liberals always have ideas bigger than can be afforded, hence they always look for a way to tax anything that moves.

The $15 minimum wage has closed down a lot of businesses. The soda tax is so stupid it’s embarrassing. Years ago liberals wanted to tax lattes because it was a symbol of superfluous excess. The business owners nixed that one.

Yeah, I like the ferries and the islands too. We live in one of the most beautiful regions of the world. Hard to leave!

A study came up with two main possibilities: tolls ranging from $1 to $2.50 at peak times -- which would raise the $200 million as required by state law -- and a second option kept trips closer to $1 to $1.25 at peak times. A final decision has not yet been made.
It'll be $2.50 at all times for white males, $1 for anyone else, at all times. Thanks Tolerance Sucks Rocks.

Pat on the back, kick in the arse ... tomato, to-ma-toe

The problem in Seattle is not inadequate green space, it is inadequate ability to go from one side of town to the other. A tunnel cannot be expanded. We have the I-5 parking lot every day because the nitwits in Seattle chose to put a lid over 2 blocks of it and build a convention center, ergo, I-5 drops to 2 lanes each way right in the middle of town, even tho it is 4-5 lanes each way 2 miles in either direction.

More enjoyable and better to me means actually wanting to go into Seattle for something. Instead, I avoid Seattle like the plague.
