Paul Mann wants to create a safe space for white men. Mann, a white man who has spent years in the education industry, has begun leading workshops in San Francisco that encourage people in his demographic to explore feelings about race and gender and think about how to better assist women and nonwhites in their workplaces. Most diversity training is inclusive of all races and genders. But Stepping Up, Mann’s program that began in January, is unusual because the workshops are designed for white men and led by a white man.
It’s an approach that has inevitably stirred controversy. It’s not something that Starbucks, for example, will pursue when it closes its stores in May for a half-day diversity training in the wake of the arrest of two black men at a Philadelphia coffee shop. And creating a “safe space,” a stated goal of Stepping Up, is a concept traditionally associated with people who feel marginalized or victimized.
But Mann says some white men are afraid of saying the wrong thing or worry they’ll be put on the defensive — and Stepping Up allows them to express themselves openly and practice language without hurting anyone.
“I am glad they care enough to discuss the issue,” Scott said. “I’m very sorry to hear that white men feel so fearful that they feel they have to have this conversation without inviting women and minorities to join.”

Yes, even here it’s always about “ improving” the “ protected classes”
Maybe they won't even have the conversation, but instead will sit around with a brewski and maybe a cigar, and relax and shoot the breeze without all of this PC rubbish. Like an old-time men's club, which you can't have any more if the members are mostly white.
White people aren’t seen as victims, but villains instead. Much like Jews in Nazi Germany were seen as villains by the Nazis. Groups that define themselves as victims are just using it as an excuse to justify their own desires to commit evil.

I had to attend a diversity workshop two weeks ago. Just routine stuff, not because I “hurt” someone. It was for managers only, had 14 participants, and only 2 were white men. Yet, we had to listen to how unfair it is for the other 12, despite the fact that the 2 white men were literally the only people in the room who have ever been told, “sorry, I would hire you, but we can’t hire any white people right now.” And it had happened to each of us twice in our lives.
Then, they showed this video with a bunch of scenarios. In each scenario, the bad person was a white male (except for one scene with no men and the bad person was the blondest, and only blue-eyed, female in the scene). I think I know what being “triggered” is because it was shocking that this is what our “culture” thinks of us.
Maybe I needed a safe space after that experience, but certainly not to “practice language”.
My safe space requires ear and eye protection!
Sounds like most of Europe...especially Sweden.
Competed in a 2 Gun Tactical competition yesterday. About 90 shooters in all, six squads. Lots of white dudes, it was a VERY safe space.
Gotta put that in the Garmin just in case I feel threatened.

Webster defines diversity as:
the condition of having or being composed of differing elements : variety; especially : the inclusion of different types of people (such as people of different races or cultures) in a group or organization.
If a certain group, no matter which one, is concerned about anything in a discussion, then the dog and pony show is a fallacy. If there is going to be an honest discussion to clear up any problems, then it should be honest. Used to call this type of action separate, but equal. How?

White men don’t need liberal and black safe spaces. Only those childish cowards do.
Diversity, the new way to cheat, to discredit whites that built the modern world, that captured the Nobel prizes in science before PC entered the competition, that invented higher Ed, that invented mathematics, the written language, space exploration, and so goes the endless list of actual revolutionary accomplishments. Diversity is leading the progressive charge in the endless war on whites and other normal people.
Social justice whiners have come to realize how ridiculous they are in their own 'safe spaces'.
They want to lure white males into playing their game so they can say, 'see, white people need safe spaces so our safe spaces are valid and aren't ridiculous'.
STAY AWAY. DO NOT ENTER. DO NOT VALIDATE THEIR GAME.

I am a man, who happens to have white skin. If only all men of al skin colors would stand up like men, and quite blaming and whining.
