New York Climate Activists Ride Buses To An Anti-Fossil Fuel Rally(DOH!)

Environmental activists rode buses up to Albany from New York City to tell Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo to mandate the use of 100 percent green energy and move the state away from fossil fuels … wait, what?

That’s right. Activists affiliated with the group Food & Water Watch will converge on New York’s capital to “demand 100% renewable energy & a ban on fracking infrastructure,” the group tweeted. Food & Water Watch backed New York’s ban on fracking in 2014, and now wants the state to get off all “fracked” gas — that’s pretty much all their gas.

Food & Water Watch doesn’t think Cuomo’s plan for New York to get 50 percent of its energy from green sources goes far enough. They want 100 percent, so that’s why activists have boarded fossil-fuel powered buses to demand more from the governor.

Well, isn't it all downhill from Albany to NYC? Or maybe the were wind or solar powered buses. LOL! Fidiots. Meanwhile here in Reno, a friend told me there were thousands of folks at the erf day celelbration but parking was horrible because seems like just about everybody drove there. Yeah, tree---forest. I'm sure all there attire was plant based and no synthetics were seen anywhere. Right?

Too bad all these loonies couldn’t get their “anti-fossil fuel”
& “green energy”without affecting the rest of us. Most of them would learn their lesson pretty quick,I think.

100% Renewable Energy, huh?

Somebody explain to them what that looks like.

I think what they actually mean is, “We want to live back in the stone age. We hate electricity. We don’t want heat or air conditioning. We hate food and farming. We demand less of everything for everyone. Let the old people die so we don’t have to support them. Get rid of Airplanes. Scuttle all shipping vessels. Fill in the subways. Implode the skyscrapers. Tear up these Roads. All construction equipment should be illegal, like fully automatic AK-47 pistols.”

Fossil fuels are OK for them but not for you.

First, you have to explain that there is no such thing as “renewable energy “. When they start spitting, ask them how do humans renew the sun or the wind. It’s funny watching their brain stop.

Must be the peons of the movement, as their leaders either fly their own jets or charter other private ones to such events.

First, you have to explain that there is no such thing as “renewable energy “.

Exactly.

The most promising use of harnessing natural energy is hydro-electric. The liberals outlawed that because it was too promising. It "hurts the environment". It kills fish.... They are insane. The Hoover Dam was ingenious and if they were smart, or they had good intentions, they would have jumped on that bandwagon forever ago. Think of the electricity that could be generated from the Mississippi River? More of the Colorado River? Hell the Ohio River? These douche-ka-bobs don't even understand how "energy" is generated. NONE of them. Ask them how a gas fired power plant works. Ask them how a wind mill produces electricity. How is electricity "stored"? Batteries? Really? Do you know what batteries are made from? And how to they get all that special metal to make all those batteries? Do they use wind in the mining equipment? This topic is right close to a level of ignorance from these a$$hats as their ignorance about guns. Eeeeeeeek! (all libs go screaming from the room to their safe space)

You still have to transport that “naturally” generated electric energy. I have seen papers that claim that ohmic possess from generation (friction), transportation (down wires!)and use (friction again!)are as high as 40%.

Nice synopsis.

Your are right - the level of ignorance among the "eco-experts" on the subject of electrical generation and storage is astounding.
