(CNN)Shortly before he allegedly killed 10 pedestrians Monday, Alek Minassian may have praised a man who vowed to "destroy" women who rejected him.
"All hail the Supreme Gentleman Elliot Rodger!" reads a Facebook page believed to be Minassian's. The accolade apparently refers to the California killer who carried out a "day of retribution" in 2014.

I don’t think Elliot Rodger was an American. He was British by birth. News accounts never seem to mention his nationality.
This really feels like somebody found a way to backdate a facebook post, and posted that as a joke to troll the media. This guy was suicidal, he killed randomly, and sounded like he had a middle eastern accent.
Then again, 4Chan probably has some weirdos. But it feels like fake news.
