The sky is falling. The sky is falling...

What nonsense.

Let’s just laughingly play the climate nonsense game...

Should their worst case scenarios actually come true, humanity will just extract carbon from the air and lock it into the earth deep underground. This is not something we cannot do if needed.

Reality is, though, their dire predictions are hogwash.

The earth has supported life for over 3.5 Billion years, if all it took were a few hundred more molecules per million of CO2 to destroy lifelife here would have ended long ago.

If the worlds climate and ecosystem were that fragile we would have never been here in the first place.

One more tunnel vision expert. Noticed he did mention more runways. I ask what is the effect of replacing vegetation with concrete? Man is causing global climate but it is far more complex.

What does a “social scientist” know about actual science?

Only what he reads in leftist publications and sees or hears in leftist forums. He will not bother with the counterpoint as he fears his views might be affected and he will cease to be invited to the progressive cocktail parties.

I Agree with this guy.. IF you buy the premise that they are trying to sell. _IF_ AGW is REAL to the extent “they” say it is, then we are all screwed, no matter WHAT we do.

IOW, an academic.

ACADEMIC: An individual who is incapable of or unwilling to create or provide goods or services of value to others, who pontificates and expects to be paid for it, usually from public funds.

” “The outcome is death, and it’s the end of most life on the planet because we’re so dependent on the burning of fossil fuels.”

And whose fault is that Mayer? The move to electricity for transportation is a fool’s mission simply because we’ve abandoned nuclear power. It really makes no sense to buy an electric car when the “juice” to run it comes from a fossil fueled power plant. It’s actually more pollution when you look at the energy lost in the multiple conversion process. And yet we have these “pious a$$holes” in their Priuses driving around like they are the saviors of the world, out in the fast lane going 55!

Of all the human activities that have even the slightest potential to screw us over, high-altitude passenger jet travel is my #1.

Mine is the breakdown of plastics over time, especially Styrofoam type materials. When they've broken down to microscopic sizes and become too numerous, the filter feeders at the bottom of the food chain may ingest enough of them to starve to death with full bellies. That will affect the rest of sea life. Yours is worth consideration as well, but technology will eventually be created for cleaner burning engines and reduce the problem.

Is this climate nut job going to burn himself to death with fossil fuels like the last one did? If so, pretty soon, we’ll be fresh out of climate nut jobs. Good thing, too.

Could this be the reason we see changes in the weather patterns? No doubt that it may cause some people to smile and consider it to be pure BS but I would suggest to check out the suggested website for more detailed info. Last time this event manifested itself it ushered in the EXODUS and was not at all appreciated by the ancient Egyptians. And speculations are that it also became a trigger for Thera to become airborne and at the time rearranged the Mediterranean landscape forever. Some of the timing and events seem to go together far too convenient to be just a plain ordinary coincident.

In the end as the saying goes the proof will be in the pudding. I for one hope that it is completely wrong.

Things to come

As this event is in the process of unfolding as it has done so over several decades already, so far its impact has been reasonably mild in comparison what most likely will happen and come to pass, and chance for this to happen are about 99.999 % . With the only difference or variation being that the full impact may be felt either a a little earlier or later. Why? Because records related to timing are spread over several thousands of years, making it difficult to pinpoint the actual event. But as these events are beginning unfold a war in the Middle East will be the least of our problems or worry, the same goes for most religious strife and political conflicts as the efforts just to SURVIVE what will take place is going to supercede everything else, making us look at past events with fond memories and comparing them to the proverbial “Walk in the park”. The following below is an excerpt from the complete article and more may be found at……

WW.NIBIRUPLANETX.INFO.......Needless to say we are not just dealing with an ordinary comet which may come by every 75 years or so like Haley’s comet or Hale Popp. This time it may be the size of Jupiter or slightly larger as it could be a brown dwarf, a potential star which never fully ignited, with a much higher density, hence also more of a gravitational field,

In this case we are dealing with a pretty big chunk of real estate which comes by only about give or take every 3600 years or so and to pinpoint it down to a couple of years is an achievement on its own. The first time I got interested in this story was about twenty years ago when I ran across a brief article in the Smithsonian, I believe it was in an October (?) issue describing the newly built Vatican observatory on Mount Graham in Arizona. The question I had at the time was “What are they looking for?” and I have researched this subject ever since. Since this object is closely related to many biblical stories and events it should come as no big surprise for the Vatican showing great interest in it.

At the time probably the only ones who were aware of this sizable piece of ‘Real-estate’ zooming around in space (possible a brown dwarf) and periodically circumnavigating planet Earth and causing havoc in the process, were some scientists, a few governmental agencies and of course the church as it relates to and interacts with humans and Biblical events. Eventually more of this story became public knowledge and more and more sources began to confirm its veracity, even with some only confirming it in a roundabout manner, knowing quite well that a public acknowledgement would be equivalent to shouting fire in a packed theater and most likely causing panic.

Very recently I discovered this article on what appears to be a Swedish religious website, it is pretty analytical and truthful in describing the characteristics of this rogue planet and what it is liable to happen during its passage. Much running parallel to what I found out over the past twenty years by looking in to it. One of several conclusions I walked away with are, at least to keep in mind for the next several years.

Stay away from nearby fault lines along with areas of semi dormant volcano’s. One fault line which comes to mind is the New Madrid fault with an estimated periodicity of about two hundred years, with the last episode transpiring around 1811 and aftershocks lasting for about a year. Should this fault line come to life now, amongst others you could write off Saint Louis and let bulldozers take care of the remains.

Just like touching or jiggling a set mousetrap, a large planet as it passes by Earth due to its gravitational forces will have a very similar effect, touching off anything under pressure or tension. I don’t even want to consider Yellowstone. So if you happen to hear about crazy weather patterns or ‘Global warming’ most likely is only one of the many precursors or introductions to the FINALE when it eventually will play out. I do believe that this rogue planet is for real, as it has crossed our path before and will do so again and again, the only thing off may be the time frame as we have to reach back into historical accounts.

For the full story check out this website, this story seems to be OK, others appear to be of a religious nature and maybe be taken with a grain of salt. Make your own case. With a little luck due to my age I may no longer be around to witness the full impact, should the timing be pushed up to some extent.

“Standing in the way is capitalism.”

There it is, the branding of free enterprise with the blunders of collective action. These communists are like a bunch of drunks who blame anything but John Barleycorn and their own whoring after seizing other people’s property for their problems.

“Juss one more hair of the dog that bit me, thash all I need,” they slur as they worship the drug and curse the cure.

Far worse than alcohol or cocaine or anything else is the dependency on collective action, which is nothing more or less than rationalized theft. To hell with them soon enough...

What a stupid commie idiot.

Social Scientist is not a scientist.

The reality is that burning fossil fuels has little effect on the total Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere but what little effect it has it good.

We humans only live because plants live. Plants LOVE Carbon Dioxide it it their food and fuel.

Climate is changing, it is getting cold. While it is possible that we are not heading into a 100,000 year ice age we are certainly heading at least into a “Little Ice Age” that will last likely a good half century. With colder temperatures the oceans are able to hold more Carbon Dioxide, plants will have to make up the loss of C02 with more water.

Cold temperatures mean more snow and ice which make less water available for plants. The history of ice ages show that during ice ages C02 drops precipitously. When C02 gets down to below the 300PPM level many plants will die off. Below 250PPM we may not be able to grow crops, we and nearly all life on the planet will disappear.

Keep on burning, it may just save us.

I’m with you. I’m looking out my window at 2’ of snow in my yard and very little bare ground.

Also what no one will talk about is the US is carbon neutral. The eastern reforestation alone has sequestered all the carbon this country produces.

A political think tank dedicated to providing tools to bureaucratic institutions, which allow manipulating public opinion. Metastasized to take over a former University of Engineering—Westminster.

“The Policy Studies Institute (PSI) is a British think-tank and research institute. PSI began in 1931 as Political and Economic Planning and became the Policy Studies Institute in 1978 on its merger with the Center for Studies in Social Policy (est 1972).”

“Working at the interface of policy and research, PSI combines the rigor of academic research with expert knowledge of policy agendas and processes to generate research outputs that inform the needs of policymakers.”

They recently found a microbe that is happy eating plastic. Let’s hope it’s not too successful, or we will find ourselves fighting against a plastic-eating scourge.
