The horror of identity politics is that being a minority is considered, by definition, being “oppressed”. Their morality thus says in the name of equity and fairness, the minority needs extra protections or privileges to be fair.
The simplest way to determine who wins the Oppression Olympics is what group is the smallest minority. It is also a factor in the “intersectionality” - the group women is too big, so divide it up into even smaller groups to try to move up the victitmhood hierarchy.
I witnessed this when a black female coworker was arguing with a mentally ill man in a dress, and his “winning” point was: there are more people like you than like me.
That was considered reason enough and justification for all of its demands.
The irony is that liberals ignore the fact that the smallest minority is the individual, so the end result of intersectionality is individual rights.
What is the current pecking order?
It used to be:
1)blacks
Then it became
1)blacks
2)homosexuals
then
1) homosexuals
2)blacks
NOW i think it is:
1)illegal aliens
2)homosexuals
3)blacks
That’s not gonna sell well when they come around again for black votes every 4 years.
That Obama was not in favor of same sex marriage until after the 2012 election should be brought up.
That holding traditional views a decade ago was OK or the only acceptable view.
Liberals don’t realize how dangerous it is to punish people for not holding radical far left views both now and forever, because it means pretty much everyone on their side but the heads of the lynch mob are in danger of said liberal lynch mob.
MSNBC has a problem filling its Saturday slot.
The Melissa Harris-Perry slot.
That’s because the black vote is slowly ebbing away from the Dems...
Trump effect
If she were hacked then, why didnt she address it then? Or did she agree with the hackers.......ridiculous cover story!
Thanks, bb....I’ll make a note of that.
She might have to appear around town w/ a "girlfriend " saying how much she enjoys gay sex to get back in their good graces.
