She’s raised almost $90,000 of a $300,000 goal on Go Fund Me. Hope she countersues and bankrupts them.

In the inverted world of Western Decadence, that probably makes sense—to the decadents.

Any judge who doesn’t dismiss this immediately should be removed from their position.

The lawyers pushing this suit should be warned that wasting the court’s time (the People’s Time) with such rubbish will face penalties.

“Powell then heard a gunshot. A neighbor fearing for Powell’s safety fired a single shot at close range striking Holland in the upper shoulder. First aid was administered on Holland by the 911 caller and the neighbor, who had fired the shot. Holland was later pronounced dead at Dearborn County Hospital, said Deddens.

A search of Holland’s truck by ISP detectives revealed methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. An autopsy was performed on Holland at Dearborn County Hospital. Toxicology results show Holland tested positive for methamphetamine, benzodiazepines, marijuana, methadone, and dextromethorphan.”

Sale of meth seems a warranted conjecture.

Woman who uses her gun to save officer’s life is being sued by criminal’s family for wrongful death

In February 2017, we posted links to news stories discussing how a woman named Kystie Jaehnen had come to the aid of an officer who was being beaten by a criminal. Sergeant William Halbig, President of Laughery Valley Fraternal Order of Police Lodge, posted this account of what happened:

The suspicious person was parked in a elderly persons yard for an extended period of time, blocking her driveway, and creating a road hazard. Shortly after a Police Officer arrived in response to the call. The man began resisting and both the Officer and man went to the ground. A young woman (Kystie)standing nearby on her property ran to help the Officer. Kystie could see the Officer was loosing the fight as this man reached for the Officers gun. Fortunately for the Officer, Kystie was armed and shot the man one time which ended the fight.

Indiana State Police conducted the investigation, which was reviewed by the Dearborn County, Indiana Prosecutors Office, and the findings were that Kystie’s actions were deemed justified and no criminal charges were filed. . . .

Holland’s family has now filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the officer who was being attacked, as well as Kystie. The Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) is covering the officer’s legal costs. Meanwhile, the FOP is so appreciative that Kystie saved the officer’s life that they have set up a go fund me page to raise money to cover her legal costs.

Too bad the pig lawyer filing the suit couldn't somehow be disbarred for some kind of misconduct.Of course you can't counter sue the dead pig's family because they are,no doubt, welfare parasites with nothing worth having.

Your whole blog is a reprint of another source, plus an appeal for money, plus a text-blocker appealing for money for yourself.

Why didn’t you just post the rest?

Oh, right. Text-blocker-pan-handler.

And you post your blog under News?

Contingency fee.The big prize would be the Police Department...the Good Samaritan would just be a source of any insurance coverage she might have (if umbrella policies cover such things). For that matter it appears that she owns a house,so....

Seems to me if a private citizen helps save the life of law enforcement or assist as a “good samaritan” they should deputize them (retroactively) for the purposes of litigation protection.

Shield them from adverse BS litigation and provide a limited immunity that sworn law enforcement enjoy when they act lawfully in the performance of their duties. It is becoming increasingly difficult to find qualified persons who want to be a policeman and everybody knows why. It’s going to be tough to find anyone to help them too.

If I see someone getting their head bashed in, civilian or not, it may just be prudent to look the other way, and keep on driving or whatever. Who needs the trouble? Not my clowns not my circus.

How about giving FR a click here: https://freerepublic.com/donate/

Ten bucks says that they're broke (at least on paper).Hopefully one,or more,of them will be caught in perjury...and/or insurance fraud or drug distribution...and do some prison time!

My word this sounds like something that would happen in Great Britain.
