WASHINGTON (WMAL) – Boy Scout history will be made this weekend at Nationals Park. Saturday for the first time ever an all-girl Cub Scout den will lead the flag ceremony at the start of a Major League Baseball game.
Since Saturday will be a first in the history of baseball, all media coverage will go to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.
The Nationals take on the Diamondbacks Saturday at 4:05 p.m.

What are you talking about? I see nothing wrong with girls in scounting. The girl scouts have failed them as an organization. There have been girls involved in scouting since the get go. Mothers and sisters attend virtually every scouting event. Why not let the girls join and benefit from the life lessons taught in scouting.
Haven’t listened to a game in months. It started with the NFL, then LeBron and the NBA, then MLB.
The political correctness and corruption got to be too much.
What matters more than anything to the LGBTers is the destruction of masculinity. There is nothing more in their way than traditional men. Pajama boy types and the effeminate heterosexual metrosexual are controllable and no threat. Masculinity must be destroyed at all costs. Boy Scouts can now be gay and women. Mission accomplished.
This is crazy. Being a brownie was fun.
Brownies and Girl Scouts were unremarkable experience, mostly making crafts, peddling cookies and chatting about menstruation.
The Boy Scouts had all the fun and adventure and were taught lifelong applicable skills.
The Boys Scouts are a far better organization than the Girl Scouts and girls should not be denied they chance to be part of such a great organization.
So it’s just a Girl Scout Troop with a different uniform :(

Yes it was!! I was a Brownie and then a Girl Scout and then when the time came my daughter was a Brownie and later a Girl Scout. (I was also Cookie Mother, which was fun too!)
The way public schools are pushing sex education, probably many boys will be convinced they should be Brownies.
We live in Topsie-turvie land.
Because boys need to be able to act like boys in the presence of other boys. They’re not going to be do that with girls around.
Looks like hockey and NASCAR are the only professional sports left for me to watch.
