Brigitte Macron lauds 'really fun' Melania Trump – but says 'she can't go outside'

Far from the stern, even glum image she presents to the public, Melania Trump in private is excellent company, according to Brigitte Macron – but unlike the French first lady, her US counterpart cannot so much as poke her nose outdoors.

But Melania “cannot do anything”, the French first lady said. “She can’t even open a window at the White House. She can’t go outside. She’s much more constrained than I am.

---snip---

Brigitte, a former French and drama teacher who recently celebrated her 65th birthday and is 25 years older than Emmanuel, her former student, insisted that contrary to popular opinion, Melania, who is 24 years younger than her husband, was “kind, charming, intelligent and very open”....

I think what Brigitte is trying to say is Melania has to live that kind of lifestyle because of far left loons who want to kill her.

Of course she can’t go outside. The anti-Trump leftists would kill her. So, she can’t go anywhere without Secret Service protection.

Melania - served state dinner on plates stolen by the Clintons.

And then the symbolic white hat. The woman is THE coolest FLOTUS ever.

No wonder she didn’t want to go and live in the White House. Bad enough being the wife of a tycoon, already security-conscious. I wonder how things are at Mar-a-Tycoon. A little better there?

That smells a little fishy ...

I sort of believe it in a way. I read somewhere her talent agent said that melania was never a party girl unlike her model friends and would sometimes go to the movies alone.

America’s First Lady quietly radiates grace and charm. She maybe too young to be outspoken like the late equally charming Mrs. Bush was however, most are aware of the very bright and witty woman behind the controlled mask. I do admire her so much.

It is regrettable that our politicians live in danger.

BTW, of the 24 Republicans at the baseball practice attacked by Bernie Bro James Hodgkinson, four are leaving Congress.

That is pretty hefty retirement rate.

What happened there... if the Clintons stole them, how is it that Donald and Melania have them now? Were more made?

Yes... it’s safer in France for the Macrons, than it is in the USA for the Trumps.

But on the other hand, imagine if Le Pen had made it. Now the situation would be different, with France deeply and widely split over it.

Stern, even glum image? Popular opinion?

An article that starts with lies is a lie.

After they were criticized for taking $190,000 worth of china, flatware, rugs, televisions, sofas and other gifts with them when they left, the Clintons announced last week that they would pay for $86,000 worth of gifts, or nearly half the amount.

Stupidly written article and the context of what was said is subverted to be just another negative attack.

I believe the Clintons were forced to return certain items which they had stolen, including that set of china. Beautiful celebratory irony!
