No. We are witnessing Kim buying time, and trying to gain some cash and advantages by sweet-talking the West, after threatening them. Blowing hot and cold is a time-honored tradition for the Kims, and all dictators.

We must proceed with caution, but I don't think that NK has been this forthcoming in the past. We may be seeing a new era.

Don't forget the choo-choo ride that Kim took to Beijing in March. He got his orders, and he is now following them.

That would make sense if Trump hadn’t asserted that noting will change until Kim shows tangible results........if Kim thinks he’s playing for time he’s playing himself. Visiting the South and talking the way he has indicates either a serious change or a lack of will to live for such a tyrant. I think he sees the writing on the wall because of the affects of Trump’s actions and the only way to stay in power now is to get the Norks (population) on his side for being the guy who started relieving their sorry state. Other option is to kill them all off except the military.
