Trump: 'Disgraceful' leak of Mueller Russia probe questions

President Donald Trump says it's "disgraceful" that a list of proposed questions from special counsel Robert Mueller was "leaked" to the news media.

The New York Times late Monday published around four dozen questions compiled by Trump's lawyers during negotiations with Mueller's investigators earlier this year over the prospect of a presidential interview.

The Times report said Trump's lawyers compiled the questions into a list and that document was "provided to The Times by a person outside Mr. Trump's legal team."

The questions range from Trump's motivations for firing FBI Director James Comey a year ago to contacts Trump's campaign had with Russians. Although Mueller's team has indicated to Trump's lawyers that he's not considered a target, investigators remain interested in whether the president's actions constitute obstruction of justice and want to interview him about several episodes in office. They have not yet made a decision about an interview.

In a second tweet, Trump said: "It would seem very hard to obstruct justice for a crime that never happened."

The questions do appear to indicate that Mueller is looking into possible collusion. Some touch on Russian meddling and whether the Trump campaign coordinated in any way with the Kremlin. In one question obtained by the Times, Mueller asks what Trump knew about campaign staff, including his former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, reaching out to Moscow.

There was a report that I read here earlier today that there’s no evidence of any contact between manafort and the Russians

So uh...when does somebody prosecute Big Bob for leaking DoJ classified information?

And doing it clearly to keep his “investigation” going and to undermine the President?

And how does Rosenstein explain THAT?

If I’m reading the story correctly these are questions that were compiled by Trump’s legal team based on conversations with Mueller’s investigators so the source has to be someone from that end and not the DOJ.

Mueller is scum. Pure scum. It looks like most of FBI upper management has been scum for quite a while.

Sure would love to see the questions our Donald would have for Mueller!

I think Frau Mueller orchestrated this himself because he is really in trouble. An act of desperation to delay the inevitable. I would enjoy seeing this SOB hung or shot by a firing squad.

It says...”provided to The Times by a person outside Mr. Trump’s legal team”

So it’s hard to tell. Them or Mueller?

Seems like only Mueller would have a reason to.

One more reason to fire EVERYBODY at DOJ/FBI! From the AG down to the janitors, and lease the building out after a good fumigation.

Nobody in either organization can be trusted, they have all been compromised, and the actions of a few have destroyed the reputation of the DOJ.

Once trust is lost, it is seldom regained.

Seriously, fire all of them. Bar them from ever serving in any law enforcement or legal capacity permanently.

Here is the problem, we know the intelligence agencies were spying illegally on the Trump campaign and during the transition.

How do we know if they ever stopped? The NYT story claims the list was compiled by Trump’s lawyers but they obtained it from a third party outside the legal team.

So either there is a WH deepstate mole that had access to the “list”, or the deepstate is still spying (and on his lawyers!), Mueller’s team leaked it or the NYT is making sh!t up, again.

All of these are possible but the first 3 are felonies. This is why the swamp must be drained. They think they run this country and ignore the law and elections to suit themselves.

Either the swamp gets drained by proper application of justice or civil war may result. But flyover country is not going to continue to obey a bunch of prog asshats in DC who flagrantly violate the basic tenets of law and justice.

It also says “four dozen questions compiled by Trump’s lawyers during negotiations with Mueller’s investigators earlier this year over the prospect of a presidential interview.” If Trump’s lawyers compiled them how would Mueller get them?

Why in the dickens would Trump’s lawyers give ANYTHING to Mueller or his investigators? Let them work for what they get. I don’t understand this at all. I’d fire the whole bunch of them.. It’s all so disgusting and ridiculous. Like Keystone Cops...

.
As the great legal minds of the Ivy League universities all concur, a president cannot obstruct justice since he has complete authority over prosecutions.

Trump lawyers were able to compile the list because Mueller or someone on his team read them over the phone to Trump’s lawyers.

See post 11!

Mueller still has the wiretaps going....and he doesn’t give a crap about attorney’s privilege, he’s God almighty!

Why bother running for election when you can just get your buddy Rodney to appoint you?

It is interesting how the Washington Examiner turns this into a problem for Trumps lawyers. Spin, spin, spin. The swamp snakes have lots of heads.

Does anyone know when the FBI (and other agencies) stopped spying on the Trump campaign and transition?

If it stopped at all?
