Kanye West: I Want to Apologize to George W. Bush for my 2005 Comment
Breitbart ^ | 05/02/2018 | Charlie Spiering

Kanye West revealed in a TMZ interview on Tuesday that he wanted to apologize to George W. Bush for saying in 2005 that the president did not care about black people in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Kanye West said he was always told not to apologize to Bush, but that he recently saw the former president pushing his father’s wheelchair at Barbara Bush’s funeral in March, and he felt sympathy for him.

“Do you know how bad I would want to go to George Bush and say I’m sorry for hurting you. I was an artist I was hurting when I went up to the telethon,” Kanye explained. “I said something in the moment, but when I look at you as a Dad, and a family member, I’m sorry for hurting you.”

West repeated in his interview with TMZ founder Harvey Levin that he wanted to treat people like humans and spread more love across the country.

“Does God want you to love everyone? … If you start thinking about love and start feeling love and thinking about forgiveness, then you can overcome things,” Kanye said.

That was in relation to his rant in the Katrina Telethon nearly 13 years ago.

Because feelings of regret and empathy, and the desire to apologize, are signs of mental instability?

Kanye has definitely taken to his opioid recovery.

You can see by his actions and words recently that he is deeply affected by whatever recovery program he is using....that is obvious to me by his change in manner of actions and his forthright apology to Bush 2 (making ammends.)

Death (near or facing it), religious conversion, and drug/alcohol recovery seem to be the only way grown adults make radical changes in their life habits/personality traits.

Example, woman diagnosed and successfully completes treatment for breast cancer then files for divorce. She changed a lot or saw qith clearer eyes how she wanted to live her life due to forced introspection

Don’t know how long he’s been a Christian, but he’s starting to think clearly and step out in the Truth. We should pray for him. It’s a huge thing to stand up to Hollywood and the leftie-liberal black panderers.

Let’s weigh the two — hmmm Maxine Waters thinks he’s nuts: he likes Trump. I think Maxine is nuts. So that cancels her vote. Again.

People change, especially when the Holy Spirit does His thing.

This happens all the time. This one is just involving a public figure.
