The Illinois Senate has approved a bill that would require public schools to teach LGBT history.
The measure passed Wednesday on a 34-18 vote, according to The Associated Press.
It mandates elementary and high schools teach a unit studying "the role and contributions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people in the history of this country and this State."
School boards would be allowed to determine how much instructional time is spent on the subject.
If the legislation passes in the House and it is signed into law, Illinois would become the second state to require an inclusive LGBT curriculum.
Last year, California became the first state to use LGBT-inclusive history textbooks.

Calling Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos, we need you to pull the plug and allow Private Schools to flourish. This is NOT going to end well for education. I saw for myself that they allowed homosexuals to come and do events at high schools to give kids the scoop, how to place Saran Wrap on the Kazoo of your partner and THEN like the anus. Someone needs to come to their senses.

I’m guessing they’ll ignore Illinois most famous example, John Wayne Gacy.
They could start with LAMBLA and introduce them to Grandpa Walton’s partner, Hay, thought every 14 year old boy needed a gay teacher.
Field trips could be to pride parades and then they could draw pictures of the butt-less short shorts for art class and count butt cheeks for math class.
Or better yet - HOMESCHOOL.
Yea Illinios public schools now can pass stuff from the She=He=It Movement at taxpayer expense.
