heh heh, clearly.
There’s a bit of a war brewing in the city council between the socialists and the batpoop crazy commie (you can google “crazy Seattle city council” and her name is the first hit) Khama Savant. Her ‘supporters’ have started attacking her less commie co-members. Then there’s the case of the Seattle sponsored heroin shooting gallery that the state supreme court has decided to hear. It’s lovely to see the left eat itself.
The tax seems otherworldly: “Unveiled after weeks of conversations, the legislation would create a tax of 26 cents per Seattle employee-hour on companies that gross at least $20 million per year in the city.”
In addition, accusations are flying of kickbacks to city council from homeless projects.
While I do agree that it is OUTSTANDING to see the Left eating itself, it is also very sad when we remember just how HORRIBLE it has to be for that to happen.
In the case of SF, they’re not looking at losing some HUGE convention dollars...so they are (finally) asking whether to shove their ‘homeless’ in the face of big-money people is really a good idea.
For the rest of us, it wouldn’t have taken the loss of ‘external revenue’ to make that point.
