December of 2008 we lost 750,000 jobs, but it was mainly because OBAMA HAD JUST BEEN ELECTED. And that was only one month.
Companies were unwilling to hire because they feared the disaster Obama was going to bring to the economy. They were right.
Unemployment remained dismal until Obama was out of office, replaced by Trump, who began to Make America Great Again.

Obama stuck 7 million Americans on extended unemployment and then enrolled them in Social Security Long Term Disability directly off of unemployment . Most have not worked in 8 years and many will never go back as they are now eligible for Social Security retirement
