A federal judge on Friday harshly rebuked Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team during a hearing for ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort – suggesting they lied about the scope of the investigation, are seeking “unfettered power” and are more interested in bringing down the president. "You don't really care about Mr. Manafort,” U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III told Mueller’s team. “You really care about what information Mr. Manafort can give you to lead you to Mr. Trump and an impeachment, or whatever."

I just also read a similar article on CNN. This bodes well and may start to reign in Mueller. It adds fuel that this is a witch hunt, run amok well beyond it’s publicly stated authorization. If they won’t release the order, they dismiss the charges, and Sessions should direct Rosenstein to close it down, else fire him and assign someone that will. It is Friday, a great day for historic massacres.
The Reagan judge may not have dismissed the Manafort case....but his words surely give Trump a huge opening of his own to act upon.
It will be very interesting to see how fast, and effectively the left moves against this Judge relative to how slow to none the moves of the right against leftist activist Judges.
This Judge will know the wrath of the entire of the Left.
Mueller is getting muddied up pretty good and every day that goes on his credibility will decline. This so called investigation is past it’s “fresh by” date and is now rotting.
Expect the socialist-democrats to go full alinsky on this judge in 3, 2, 1.....
This has been the MO of the socialist-democrats and their MSM propaganda toadies from the get go.
They are trying to destroy everyone who’s close to President Trump, and ruin anyone who expresses interest in working for his administration.
They aren’t even trying to hide it anymore, and more to the point, are sending a message.
What point is the defense trying to make here -- that Manafort may be guilty as hell but a different prosecutor should have filed the charges?
Sessions is a POS.
A federal judge doing the job Sessions refuses to do.
Toting up the score, the only one we have is McCabe being fired, but that will be disappointing if he doesn’t get indicted.
Then as a very small gain (depending on the spot), Peter Strzok exiled to the FBI HR department.
I don’t count Comey being fired, because he used the firing to orchestrate the special counsel, and continues to advance the coup.
