The Trump administration will require 57,000 Honduran people to return to their home country, after having lived in the U.S. with protected status since a 1999 hurricane, according to a report Friday morning.
The administration will give Hondurans 12 to 18 months to return home, according to McClatchy. Hondurans are the second-largest national group of people who benefit from TPS.
A DHS spokesperson told the Washington Examiner that Sec. Kirstjen Nielsen "has not yet made a decision." But a decision is due by July 6 and the government has yet to formally announce the reported policy change.
Elaine Duke, former acting director of DHS, in November delayed a decision on whether to renew the two-year program.
Instead, the administration announced Hondurans would be given a six-month extension of the Jan. 5, 2018, expiration date as it decides the fate of the program.

Given what’s happening in Honduras, I would say give them some of our surplus guns before sending them home.

Time to start deporting them to Mexico City. Let them sort them out.

Lock our border down and dump them on the transit state, let them worry about the impact on them.

They’ve been here since 1999. That was, what, 19 years ago? Plenty of time to have learned English and some job skills which would be highly useful in their home country.

Deporting 20 million isn’t going to be as hard as some would believe it to be. The biggest obstacle is our own court system.

I don’t think that they transitied mexico, but they were delivered here, after the hurricane.
Either way, it’s well past time for them to go home. The first word in the acronym is Temporary. Times up.
It’s always surprising to me that when programs are finally enforced the way they were intended, people get all upset. The T in TPS stands for Temporary. These people have been here almost 20 years. That’s not temporary. It’s like SNAP. What part of Supplemental means I should have to pay for ALL your groceries?

The bred like rabbits since 1998. Those rabbits are now US citizens.
Corral them up, and rent a train to haul them several thousand miles to the Mexican border, telling the Mexicans they are coming. Push them across our Southern border, in to Mexico. Let the Mexs handle it.
