John McCain, who has been battling an aggressive form of brain cancer for more than a year, doesn’t want President Trump to attend his funeral and prefers Vice President Pence to be there, according to a New York Times report.
In addition, former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama have been asked to deliver eulogies at McCain's funeral, sources close to both former presidents and McCain told CNN.

I’m not too far from my own funeral.
I am a U.S. veteran and I respect John McCains’ service during Viet Nam.
His captivity as a POW doesn’t amplify that respect.
His selling out to the left and to the press, placing his personal well-being and popularity above the good of the U.S. certainly attinuates that respect.
Trump is not a veteran and has not spent his life contemplating his conservatism nor liberalism. He occasionally jumps to conclusions or positions based on off-the-cuff emotion, but is able to be reeled back in by logic. It is obvious that he loves America and loves being and American.
Though neither are even aware of my existence, I would not deny either one at my funeral, but would certainly prefer Trump.

Last time I checked the act of dying was a singular function that can be accomplished without involving the public at large. Do us all a favor McCain and shuffle on off into eternity, preferably quietly and permanently
