Mitch McConnell, as Majority Leader of the Senate, twisted the Treaty provision of the Constitution on its head to GET THAT DEAL THROUGH!
McConnell CREATED the provision whereby two-thirds of the Senate would need to DISSAPROVE of the deal in order to PREVENT the deal from becoming effective.
Instead of the Constitutional provision whereby two-thirds of the Senate would need to APPROVE of a treaty before it could become effective.
Pretzel McConnell!! Whatever it took to help Obama and his minions.
What McConnell did was invalid. There was no compliance with the Treaty Clause.
61% of Cognress voted against the Iran the deal. Obama did it by Executive fiat.

The McConnell formula allowed Republicans to pass the Iran deal while pretending to oppose it. They could attack it in high dudgeon while safeguarding its passage.

Yes, Corker was the tool who co-sponsored the bill, and was instrumental in getting it through.
Had the stupid SOB not withdrawn from politics earlier this year, I’d have worked like crazy to get him primaried. At least he did one thing right.
And speaking of Senate politics, although low-information USA voters undoubtedly don’t see it this way, they owned a piece of the Iran “deal” through the ill-conceived 17th Amendment (17A) imo.
Patriots need to work with their state lawmakers in supporting Pres. Trump to lead the states to repeal 17A.
The 16th Amendment can disappear too.
It would have not been possible for Obama to get his Iran “deal” without the full cooperation of the Bush League Republicans.
Same as it would not have been possible for him to usurp the office he was ineligible to hold without their complete cooperation.
Not to mention that Cruz must also believe that Anwar Al-Awlaki’s kids born in Yemen to one citizen parent are eligible to be President if he believes he is.
