New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D) signed a bill Wednesday that allows New Jersey college students who are in the country illegally to obtain financial aid for their education, several news outlets reported.

Murphy called the United States the "world's melting pot" where people come "in the hope of a new life," when he signed the legislation at Rutgers-Newark, according to NJ.com.

The bill's sponsor, State Senator Teresa Ruiz (D-Newark), praised Murphy's move, saying that the Garden State prides itself in investing in "all of our students throughout their K-12 academic careers."

She said it is not right to limit that prospect for DREAMers

What is wrong with these people? Tax citizens to pay for invaders?

While citizen students have to be burdened with heavy loans?

Just look around and see what else is going on in New Jersey. They are dealing with a massive out-migration of taxpayers as it is.

The state government is coddling illegal aliens because these are the only people who actually want to move here.

Lowlife uses “melting pot” incorrectly—that refers to legal immigrants becoming Americans legally and culturally.

P.S. — In effect, what New Jersey is doing is hoping desperately that these people will stay in New Jersey as long as possible. They need a bunch of brown immigrants to pay for all the white retirees living in Florida and North Carolina.

I would argue this action has little to do with white retirees living in Florida and N.C. It’s about importing voters to vote Democrat, as the white retirees are defecting. When the pension crash happens, those folks are screwed.

Deep in debt “Blue” states like New Jersey, Californicata, NY, etc... have essentially seceded from both the U.S. Constitution and reality. Deny, deny, deny...but reality has a nasty habit of eventually kicking one in the butt.

I do see the possibility of federally limiting student loans to only citizens and legal residents. But this has the collateral damage that only citizens and legal residents will have to face life-limiting mountains of student loan debt.

“What is wrong with these people? Tax citizens to pay for invaders?”

Another example of liberals propping themselves up by giving away the shirt off of someone else’s back. Why doesn't he just start a ‘Go Fund Me’ page for those who want to donate to an illegal immigrant college fund, and then put in his own money?

When I knew that I was going to retire (1999), first thing on the list, MOVE OUT OF NEW JERSEY. Moved to Pennsylvania, then to Florida.

Go ahead and then sit back and figure as how Trump refuses to approve of federal money going to NJ for things like a new tunnel.

Uh-oh, you're in trouble now! You wrote that "N" word that reminds wrong-headed individuals of what they are not, and triggers them!

You are not the problem, but there are many whose unfortunate voting habits fouled the nest who are fleeing to other places and fouling them the same way.

Maryland is offering free community college tuition. But department heads are forcing professors to pass all students. If classes are full then professors have permanent employment.

“She said it is not right to limit that prospect for DREAMers”

Since all funding is a zero sum game; every DREAMer funded is one citizen denied funding.

Also DREAMers are free to return to their countries of origin
and get good jobs with their free education.

Good reason to cut fed education dollars to that state since they are misappropriating funds.

Well, now that places like Newark are ‘crime free’ and the homeless issue is resolved state wide... why not spend the massive surplus on illegals?

It would be nice if they did something for actual American citizens for once.
