Tech giants Facebook and Google have banned advertisements related to Ireland’s upcoming abortion referendum this month. Ahead of Ireland’s upcoming referendum, which will decide whether or not the country’s eighth amendment preventing abortion in the country will be revoked, Silicon Valley’s masters of the universe have chosen to ban advertisements relating to the referendum. Facebook and Google both announced separately that they would be banning the advertisement of ads relating to the referendum. Facebook has banned ads from organizations based out of Ireland, while Google has banned all ads regardless of source.

Ping to another example of Google and Facebook causing problems for people who do not even spend their money on Google and Facebook.

You can't ignore Nazis. The Free Market won't solve this problem.

I am shocked and frustrated that there are people on our side who think that if we just don't patronize businesses that are powerful, hate us, and who work to declare us "Untermenschen" they will just go away.

No, they won't just go away.

I call them Cookie-Cutter Conservatives and Limousine-Libertine Libertarians.

They think they are objective and sagacious; they are the useful idiots on the right.

Twitter has lost value. Target has lost value. Facebook has lost value. The list grows. Those are market forces. Have any of them repented their militant assault on conservative and Christian customers? They double down. They treble down.

The above people display an appalling lack of understanding of the one thing that conservatives and Christians are supposed to understand better than those on the left:

Human nature.

This is not about the market. This is about power and control. This is about religion - in the primal sense of the etymology of the word: to re-connect to something of a higher purpose.

The market is not an independent entity. It is made up of human beings, and human beings are irrational and decadent (depraved, in the spiritual/theological sense). That is why the Founders tried to keep as much power away from the central government as possible.

Opposed to the vaunted market forces is the Luciferian pride of Saul Alinsky and his acolytes: “Better to reign in Hell than to serve in Heaven.”

(And the man who taught Saul Alinsky - who dedicated his infernal rule book to Lucifer - was no less than Frank Nitti, a murderous mobster.)

This is a visceral war to the death, not a sterile experiment in market forces.
