I note that this news IS NOT AVAILABLE ANYWHERE IN THE NEWS MISLEADIA, but only a speech against the proposal on Matt Harpers page.

So, now we have gotten to the point where the News Misleadia carefully censors anything that might resemble news.

I think the proper way to handle this one is to do what they would do in a commie socialist country: the person who proposed the bill should just be disappeared.

International Socialist Workers Day (May 1)

I'm kinda glad they are finally just coming right out and admitting it.

That could also mean that it's some obscure wanker's opinion.

So, now we have gotten to the point where the News Misleadia carefully censors anything that might resemble news.

It's the Media's fault that nobody pays attention to some obscure wanker?

We already have a communist holiday. Wasn’t Martin Luther King a socialist pro-communist activist?

Look to californicate to see what the country will be like if leftists get back into power. They aren’t even trying to hide that they would take all our money and throw us into jail.

Martin Luther King was affiliated with 60 Communist Fronts, and his closest associates were communists.

Jesus was an obscure person at one point.

Later He was found to be the Son of God.

From Wikipedia:

International Workers’ Day, also known as Labour Day or Workers’ Day in some countries[1][2] and often referred to as May Day,[3][4] is a celebration of labourers and the working classes that is promoted by the international labour movement which occurs every year on May Day (1 May), an ancient European spring festival.[5][6]

The date was chosen by a pan-national organization of socialist and communist political parties to commemorate the Haymarket affair, which occurred in Chicago on 4 May 1886.[6] The 1904 Sixth Conference of the Second International, called on “all Social Democratic Party organisations and trade unions of all countries to demonstrate energetically on the First of May for the legal establishment of the 8-hour day, for the class demands of the proletariat, and for universal peace.”[7]

Thanks.

I noticed this under “status” at that link sorry about the formatting):

“Last 5 History Actions

Date__Action

05/10/18__ Motion to reconsider made by Assembly Member Santiago.
05/10/18__ Read third time. Refused passage.
05/07/18__ Read second time. Ordered to third reading.
05/03/18__ Read second time and amended. Ordered returned to second reading.
05/02/18__ From committee: Amend, and do pass as amended. (Ayes 12. Noes 5.) (April 25).”

It looks like it made it out of committee and was read on the floor a few times and then shot down.

If I am interpreting one of the other notations properly, Santiago’s motion to reconsider will be considered on May 14.

If I lived in California I would take Monday off from work and park myself in the state assembly building with a protest sign or three...

Also, it allows for a Ceasar Chavez Day and a Native American Day.

Later He was found to be the Son of God.
