A Democrat receiving his third jail sentence? Not surprising. A Democrat giving up on America? There are plenty of those, although few will actively say it.
A former Democrat congressman giving up on America because he just received his his third jail sentence? Now that’s a humorous way to end the week.
Yes, former U.S. Rep. Mel Reynolds, a veteran of our country’s penal system, is going back to the hoosegow for six months after being convicted of failing to pay taxes.
According to Fox News, Reynolds, 66, declined to pay anything to the IRS on $400,000 of consulting work he did. The work was done for Chicago businessmen in the African nation of Zimbabwe.
“It’s a tragedy that you squandered the opportunities you had and the type of person you could have become,” Judge Robert Gettleman said at the sentencing.

Mel Reynolds, a former congressman from Illinois, was arrested in Zimbabwe after he was accused of immigration violations and allegedly found in possession of pornography, state media reported Tuesday.
Poor guy can't get a break. Not even from the Africans...
Most of the time, they end up in GP, as the other inmates generally leave seniors alone, unless they are child molesters, which usually means they have to PC up.
After reading his rap sheet from Wikipedia, I can only conclude this guy is just a low life criminal who will never face or repent of his degenerate life.

So I guess he thinks “nonsense” is having to behave like a civilized human being? Note to ICE: Take his passport when he boards the plane to his “new home in Africa!” We have placed citizenship here on too low a threshold. Being above room temperature isn’t enough.
Reynolds was a crook. Now he’s a three time loser. For the lower fish, crime does not pay.
For the Big Democrat Fish, it pays very well.
